Same as the headline....great wheel...I suggest turning the force feedback DOWN unless you want to feel like you went to the gym to work on your shoulders and pecs.

Just received the PS4/PC version today, so Im reviewing on the unboxing and initial use. Box was heavier than expected. Solid steering wheel, feels good in the hands. Pedals have a really nice feedback to them, ie: brake and gas feel that of a real car. They also have a strip built in the bottom that grips carpet, which is retractable for smooth surfaces. Wish there was something closer to where your heels are to keep it better aligned. Everything else is pretty nice. The only problem I have is the clamps for the steering wheel dont extend enough to fit my desk, which is approx 1.75. The shifter also feels great and very smooth when using. Same issue with desk thickness.Bonus when you can get the bundle (wheel and shifter) on sale. Highly recommend this set!

Sure the quality is amazing, the feedback is great. Bought mine when it was $200. Thought it would be just the best thing to add to my racing experience.... WRONG! Its only compatible with maybe 10 games on PS4 and about 18 games on PC but they arent any of the newer games that have come out since 2015. God forbid trying to connect it to your PC. You have to download drivers and then you have to force your computer to think its an Xbox controller to which half of the buttons dont work. Then trying to load a game hoping it recognizes your game/wheel. And should it notice the wheel it wont pick up the petals. I am very unhappy with this product.

I have been using this wheel for a couple months now on iracing. The wheel works great and the force feedback is amazing. It is a bit noisy but I never hear it because I use a headset while racing. The pedals are very sturdy. I love having the buttons on the wheel due to the fact I can assign them for in car functions. Helps a lot not having to reach over to hit a button. Would highly recommend the G29!

If you want to start in the sim racing, this is a good buy

Ive been waiting about 15 years to get a racing wheel to play my copies of Gran Turismo, and when the price dropped on the G29, I decided to take the plunge and see if it was truly different than all the years I wore down my thumbs on my Playstation controllers.

We bought this three months ago and its sparking and locking up! I do not recommend!

Worked fine for less than 100 hours of use. I bought this for GT Sport last summer (2016) before they pushed back their release to Fall 2017. One day the wheel centering spring/mechanism failed and the wheel became incredibly stiff and always forced its self to return to center, regardless of what game I tried to play or if I plugged it into my PC or PS4. After firmware updates and power cycling for a month this was never fixed. This is a known issue with this unit as I found out in a logitech reddit thread.

Big problem with G290:

Owned a g25 and loved it now purchased a g29 and missed the passion I had with driving on the wheel.
