Wheel feels kinda flimsy, but havnt had any problems with it yet. Its very adjustable and seems accurate. The shifter feels so cheesy and cheap you would think it was a toy in a cereal box. The pedals feel great but the cleats that are suppose to hold it in place work 0%. It’ll slide around like nobodies business. I can butt it up against the wall and my desk and tht gets it to stay still but it should work with just the cleats. Everything works well enough for now, i wouldnt be surprised if something broke though, a lot of this stuff just feels cheap

After trying DiRT Rally with my Logitech F710 gamepad for a while, which is more of a sim than an arcade game, I thought I would get better control with a wheel than 1 thumbstick. I ordered the G29 instead of G920 just because I liked the blue better than gray. I am a Linux PC user. The game did not recognize it in Linux, but recognized it as a G29 in Win7 and it worked great. Back to Linux and eventually I figured out that if I change it to an alternate mode in Linux from G29 to G27, DiRT Rally recognized it and I wrote a script to switch its mode and set lock to lock in degrees. Then everything worked including wheel with force feedback, paddle shifters, and all 3 pedals. So I am enjoying DiRT Rally with a lot better control and feedback of track surface. Linux DiRT Rally should support the G29 in its next update. Until then the Linux shell script to switch The G29 to G27 and set its range is posted in the Steam Linux Force Feedback (LinuxFF) group.

We had a beginner wheel, thrustmaster Ferrari with the bungee cord effect. Worked well enough, just dont get the force feedback, which is good in some games and not good in others.

The G29 I ordered worked fine at the start, stopped using it after a week and put it in storage. It hasnt even been a year since I ordered and I brought it back out this week, worked fine til yesterday, as I was drifting it would heavily force the wheel to turn to the point where things were coming off my desk. I had to fight the wheel to get it back into place and it does this with barely any turning.

Well I have had this for a few months now and me an my son love this. Worth every $ and can’t wait to get a chair for it to go on.

Get the thrustmaster that is around the same price. These pedals feel terrible and the force feedback is way too inaccurate and heavy.
