We had an outlet behind a couch that was not controlled by a wall seith. This remote control allowed us to is the outlet for a table lamp. Easy to install... my wife did it in less than 5 minutes.

Stopped working after 2 weeks

Ive had remote control outlet plugs in the past but the remote always looked and felt cheap. This one looks so nice I dont even mind letting it sit on top of my white nightstand. FYI, my outlet is 20 feet away.

This was the perfect replacement for an old X10 remote light module that no longer worked. The X10 remote had always been tricky at best and often unreliable. We use the remote control outlet adapter to control flood lights on our detached garage. (The lights are only used occasionally, so dusk-to-dawn was not an option.) I just plugged in the adapter, plugged in the cord from the flood lights and IT WORKED. No set up necessary. So far, I love it.

This remote has great Range allowing use from a distance.

I bought this for my closet, very easy set up, just plug in. And it’s a plus that the remote holder is magnetic.

I am using this to be able to turn off my bedroom light right as I get ready to drift off to sleep. Works very well.
