> 24 hourEasy yo use, plenty of material, sets fast and dries with in a couple days. You need to prep and not just start. Open all the rolls and get some scissors. Unroll and cut to length starting with the breast and work your way down. Lay out your precut strips in size piles. We opted to use a plastic chair and only place the plastic drop sheet underneath. I recommend that you throw an old sheet on top because the plastic will stick to bare feet. ( no shoes unless you want them coated also). Put a dish ( 9x13 worked great) of warm water beside your strips. Sit down and coat yourself very well with included lube and have your partner get to work! You need to work fast and you need to smooth the materials constantly to keep it smooth. For us the breast were setting up and we werent even to the tummy. I just held it to my body and we completed the casting. It came off really easy and laid on table to dry. Which has taken about 3 days. Dont worry about the edges you trim it with scissors and once completely dry you can lightly sand/buff smooth and go from there. Have fun, laugh at the messy-ness and enjoy making a memory.

> 24 hourWell I am an artist so I thought this would be very easy for me to use and direct my partner so it would be quick and easy. Well it was realy hard and took a long time to do. Being 38 weeks pregnant when I did it left me in excruciating back pain for the next few days. All the hard work was worth it. It turned out great. The kit was great because it has everything you need to make the cast, then fix it up and lastly to get it ready for paint. Even thought it was hard it came out great and was very affordable. I cant think of how they would make it any easier so I still gave it 4 out of 5. It took a very long time to dry. I would make very sure I had a better place to dry it set up before I started if I did this again. It took about 4 days to dry. Pros- Has everything you need to make a beautiful piece of art Very good price on Amazon Cons- This is hard to use This takes a long time to dry

> 24 hourThis kit was very easy and fun to use. There is alot of powder that get everywhere when you cut the strips and it is very messy when applying however anything you may get on a surface other than the protection sheet they provide does wipe of very easily. I used the provided lubricant and had no troubles with it sticking to my skin at all, in fact after the first layers dried it popped right off and i had to hold it on for the remaining pieces. We made it pretty thick so im not sure on drying times, its still drying! its been almost 3 hours but the shape has held great so far. A little tip os make sure you smear the water around with the paste/plaster w.e. it is and fill in the little holes. Youll know what i mean when you get to that part. It makes a huge differnce in the surface being smooth after it dries. This was very simple to use i feel a ten year old could do a great job. I had my 75 year old grandmother help me do mine and looks fantastic. Super simple and a great price for the memory it holds. I rec this to all new mommy and daddys! I cannot wait to paint mine and hang it up, however im going to wait a bit after my son is born so we can add the details like time and date.

> 24 hourIt is very messy, and I would recommend if you are using any clothes to make sure you are okay with throwing it away. The cast didn’t come out of my items.

> 24 hourIm only giving two stars because its a great idea. But the instructions are HORRIBLE. When I made the smoother for the belly cast, I ruined it. Im so upset I cant even see straight. The instructions say to make a yogurt like consistency which is very subjective. It says that it sets quickly, when it basically dries on contact. So thats what messed up the cast. Then on my next batch, I added too much water which completely ruins the mixture not to mention my kitchen is a royal mess and in addition, it took a lot of effort to get the instantly dried smoother off the bowl that I mixed it in, not to mention that it sticks to your fingers something fierce so forget about trying to do multiple batches, but wait, you have to do multiple batches for it not to dry up and for it to work. Its such a mess I cant even say the right words to explain. Im so incredibly angry and upset because its not like I can recreate the cast. Im going to try to salvage it, but unless you have help and/or know how this works, dont try this at home!! Its supposed to be easy and its not. Its terrible. You have to basically be in a class that tells you how to do it, or HERES AND IDEA....I hope the seller is paying attention...give measurements!!!! DUH!!!!! Thanks for allowing me to ruin my belly cast that I cannot recreate!!!

> 24 hourWe had a great time with this, and I am VERY happy with the results. I recommend doing it in a tiled bathroom that can be washed easily, as it does get a little messy. My husband (who is an engineer and not artsy) did a great job and actually enjoyed it- it took maybe 1.5-2 hours including some prep and clean up. We had just enough lube for my bust and belly at 39.5 weeks (I know, cutting it close!), but if you plan to do your shoulders and legs, hands, etc, Id recommend having some vasoline or something handy. We had a full strip and a half left, so will be using to reinforce from the inside at a later time. We havent sanded it down and primed it yet, but that will come after baby is here! This is worth the price, and Im so glad we had the chance to do this before the arrival of our little one.

> 24 hourMy only complaint is how quickly it dries! I had help but honestly we could’ve used an extra set of hands! I was trying to help because of how quickly it was drying but then that made it loose on me cause I could be completely still and not move my arms. It got stressful for sure and I wish the end result would’ve been more snug but for what you pay and being able to have it as a special memory, it was a good deal. If we weren’t delivering next week, I would honestly order again and redo it with extra helping hands!
