I am using this remote device to control a hot water circulation pump that is installed in the garage. I have it programmed to run on a daily schedule and 2 Pico on/off switches. Right out of the box it just worked. Now, when one of us wants to shower it no longer is necessary to go out to the garage and manually turn on the pump; the Smart Plug takes care of it. Like all Lutron Caseta products, this just works.

Like most Caseta stuff, this is priced at the higher end of its market, but it is a nicely put together package, that seems like itd take a decent soaking. The line lump style is great since it separates the outlets from the device, offering more layout flexibility when attached to walls, and an option for water sealing the couplings, which is not the case with the standard sockets-at-the-bottom devices. I cant speak to its range, I happen to have a caseta lamp dimmer on the opposite side of the wall, so mine is only a few feet away from the mesh.

Outstanding product. I can control all landscape lighting and create an on/off schedule to save electricity.

This fits perfectly into my smart electrical system setup. My home has been completely refitted with Lutron Caseta switches and outlets so as I can control my lighting via WIFI whenever I’m away. I needed this outdoor unit to control the battery charger on my golf cart rather than leaving on 27/7. It’s very well constructed and perfect for outdoor use.

I was using another brand outdoor smart switch, but it had problems dropping connection and it was often sluggish in its response with on/off commands. I have a small (growing) Lutron Caseta setup, so when I saw this I grabbed it even though it was a little more expensive than I wanted. Im glad I did because it works great! It hasnt dropped once and its very responsive.

These item was easy to install and did exactly what I needed it to do. All other Lutron products allowed a slight feed on neutral allowing slight glow that was only visible at night. This product stopped that from happening.

Installed to switch garden path lights but the wireless signal does not reach the switch unless it is plugged into an outlet right next to the house, My transform for the lights is installed in a shed next to the house, too great a distance apparently.

I love Lutron. This item is built like a tank and the HomeKit integration took five seconds. I bought similar devices from Wemo and Meross but their build quality was poor and I could never get them connected to HomeKit.

We invested in a lot of money with these.… The set up was easy, but few issues: you still have water/outdoor elements breach plugging whatever you plug into it need a flat/slim plug into gang box to be able to close an outdoor gang box most importantly, it works erratically and inconsistently.... even electrician spent an hour and noticed same thing... some mornings we were shocked the timer worked, and some I had to manually shut off ... same going ON ... they are OK ...
