Although just a few weeks in to its installation, this Lutron switch has performed flawlessly. No issues with Wi-Fi connections. Installation was easy on to an existing smart bridge that has a few other lights installed. Overall, reliable, solid and easy to install

Like most Caseta stuff, this is priced at the higher end of its market, but it is a nicely put together package, that seems like itd take a decent soaking. The line lump style is great since it separates the outlets from the device, offering more layout flexibility when attached to walls, and an option for water sealing the couplings, which is not the case with the standard sockets-at-the-bottom devices. I cant speak to its range, I happen to have a caseta lamp dimmer on the opposite side of the wall, so mine is only a few feet away from the mesh.

Lutron makes the most reliable and highest quality devices. Yes this outdoor plug is expensive but it is built to last and will be the last one you ever have to buy. My last smart plug was a cheap alternative and failed after a month in southern heat. The Lutron handles the heat perfectly and is built like a tank

Picked this up to control some heat cables on my roof to prevent ice dams. Its been working great in single digit weather and is clearly well made like all of the other Lutron devices we own.

I am using this remote device to control a hot water circulation pump that is installed in the garage. I have it programmed to run on a daily schedule and 2 Pico on/off switches. Right out of the box it just worked. Now, when one of us wants to shower it no longer is necessary to go out to the garage and manually turn on the pump; the Smart Plug takes care of it. Like all Lutron Caseta products, this just works.

Good product but did not work in my Lutron RA select which I had ASSUMED. Seller was very understanding and allowed me to return the item. Seller was very easy to work with, especially given that the error was a result of an assumption I made.

I used this outside in a cabana for string lights. It’s perfect - I added a pick remote to it so I have a “switch” for the lights, or I can use the phone app. Easy to setup, simple to use. Love it!

I could not rate the Alexa use as I am an App biggot, but like the the rest of the Caséta system it works perfectly with Siri so it should work with Alexa as well. Installation was simple. Plug it into an standard US duplex outlet. Plug the load into the other connection on the device. That is all. You can then press the waterproof button to turn the device on and off. To activate the remote function, open the app on your phone. Click the dropdown to reach add the device option. Select the device and follow the instructions on the phone. When you have completed all steps as instructed. You can turn on and off your device with the app on your cell phone. In addition, when you next open your Home App on your iPhone the new device will show up and can be added to all your regular scenes or automations. For those not familiar with the Caséta system, you will need to get a starter kit so you have a bridge. Without the bridge none of the Caséta products can be configured. They will work as local device controllers only. For Apple Siri integration, you also need an iPad or Apple TV you can leave connected to the same wireless system as the bridge and the bridge must be connected to the internet for proper setup.
