Greater than one weekWe have been using it for over a month, there was a light sprinkle and it kept it from getting wet with the shield. No issues.

> 3 dayProduct looks good. Only thing is that it seems too expensive for a normal cheap iron lock. I bought another from Komsepor brand a week ago which came with a convenient number lock for only $59. I would rather prefer Komsepor for the price!

> 3 dayAfter experiencing a tragic surge event that blew out electronics due to a lightning strike, I put surge protection on everything I own. This includes installing a whole-house surge protector on my electrical panel and also using quality brand surge protector for my electronics. This RV 30-Amp protector is a perfect way to not be a victim to the immense campground power grid. You’re camper electronics won’t be attacked by a neighbor camp’s crappy camper shorting out and creating a spike or a lightning strike — as the old saying goes, if it isn’t storming’ thh my run you aren’t campin. Like some of the other similar units offer, this has a weather protector shield that my cord plug fits perfectly into. The LED indicator lights are great to see the campground grid is safe to use.

Greater than one weekIve had my eye on a surge protector for my RV since I bought it, but just never pulled the trigger as they are usually $120-$200 depending on the brand and features. This one comes in at half that and has all the features I needed. The packaging was simple, just the device, some cardboard filler, instructions, and the bag with the lock and cable. Thankfully, no blister pack as those are just a pain. :) Set up is simple as you can imagine. You plug this into a 30A plug and plug your RV into it. Before you plug in your RV you can check the status lights to make sure the shore power is wired correctly. All the information you need is printed on the front of display. The illumination of the lights doesnt show in my pictures, but the two outside yellow lights are lit indicating proper wiring and the blue light is lit indication that I have surge protection. Thats it, that is the operation. I like that there is a ring to hang this to keep it off the ground and the included lock and cable are a nice touch as these are the types of things that can grow legs on a campground. One drawback is that the opening on the bottom of the splash guard isnt large enough for the newer RV plugs and extension cords so it doesnt close all the way. I dont think this will be a problem, but it would be nice to have that close all the way. Im running this at my house for now as we are a month out from our first camping trip. Ill update this if there is anything new, but for now, Im very happy.

> 3 dayAfter being parked in my RV, and seeing the other people, having a surge protector in the box, I got on Amazon and found this, and I am very happy with it. The number one fear apparently would be somebody would steal it in this even comes with a padlock.
