> 3 dayOnly disappointment was the snap on filter didn’t spread the light more. At least as bright as a 500W halogen.

> 3 dayBest light Ive owned for jobsite work. The cord and plug being disconnect-able is a great edition and proves to be holding up well in the cold temperatures we deal with in the winter. Lights up the entire upstairs of large single family homes ( obviously without sheetrock ) on the high setting. 6.0 battery lasts about 8 on high.

> 3 dayI use this light for illuminating areas inside of buildings that are being renovated. The light has three brightness settings which are appropriate for different lighting needs. The light is sturdy but there are shortcomings that will make you wish that you bought another product. The two 6ah batteries dont last very long on the brightest setting and the lower settings arent bright enough to illuminate a work area. You will need to plug the light into an AC outlet. Plugging the light in would work if the power cord stayed connected to the light. It falls out every time you touch the cord or move the light. The batteries then power the LEDS and run down without you even knowing you are running on the batteries. The light is just awkward to use because it is designed to sit on the floor or a table. No good way to elevate it so you are constantly being blinded by the light shining up at you. Buy something else. There are lots of better options.

06-06-2025Pros: Uses Makita batteries you already have (I am assuming that this is why you would buy it). Light is bright and covers a lot of area just like you would expect from a work light. No cord to get tangled around car parts or building materials. My best use is when you just need the work light but dont want to break out the extension cord for a 5 minute job. Cons: A bit heavier than a standard plug in light, but it is built like a tank. The base doesnt unscrew from the light. I assumed it did with the two screws on each side but they are for adjusting the angle, not breaking it down. Sometimes, if you have two people, you have one person holding the light and it would be easier and lighter without the base.

Greater than one weekThe light is very bright. The 5.0 battery is a must have for longer use. Ive used it for projects and camping.

> 3 dayBuilt like a brick and plenty bright. These are a bit bigger than the previous model Makita light of this style but at least 3x as bright. One of the best features is that a single led will stay illuminated when the battery its almost dead so you are not left blind without warning. It feels as if it could take a huge tumble down the road and be just fine.
