> 3 dayIt is a bit bulky but casts nice bright light I run 4 ah and 5 ah batteries . They get me through hours of light time no problem . I wouldn’t run any thing smaller then 3 ah you will spend more time charging batteries then using your light .

Greater than one weekThis is a heavy unit, even without the battery -- Net weight well over 10 lbs. Brightness on HIGH matches up to a cheap, imported wall-powered LED stand light. The worst part is the power cord which shimmies loose with the slightest repositioning. At an eighth of an inch out this loose junk is already not making contact. Plugging it in again requires pressing power switches again. With an LXT battery installed, it flashes to indicate transition from wall-power to battery, but thats just irritating. I’ve used this light maybe two hours and feel like slamming it against the floor. The power cord connection is so bad Im thinking of JB Welding it permanently into the unit. FOR A $130+ FLASHLIGHT youd expect something that doesnt hurt your arms carrying it or frustrate the hell out of you plugging it in. Its only good on battery. Otherwise, build quality is way subpar to normal Makita tools.

> 3 dayIt’s a bit bigger than I expected and the lowest setting is brighter than I was expecting( that has pros and cons). Overall quite bright. Basically limitless angle adjustment. My favorite feature is that it works via wall outlets as well as batteries. Overall i like it very much.

> 3 dayMy initial impression is high quality but bulky. Im a little concerned the lense could be damaged easily as there is no guarding. However, I found the diffuser gives it some added protection and it helps distribute the light. The versatility of having a battery or power cord option is nice. Id love to see this light have the ability to charge the battery and a USB ports to charge a cell phone on the job. As I was looking for a good place to store the light, I found installing a hook to the wall it makes an amazing light for the work bench. As far as size, its much larger than other work lights. You wont have to worry about this thing getting knocked over. I wouldnt recommend putting this on a tripod especially with a battery. It would be extremely top heavy. It may be hard to see how bright the light is in the photo but it is bright especially if you take it into a large area. It had no problem illuminating a good portion of my backyard. Id definitely recommend buying this light. Hope this helps!

> 3 dayPros: Uses Makita batteries you already have (I am assuming that this is why you would buy it). Light is bright and covers a lot of area just like you would expect from a work light. No cord to get tangled around car parts or building materials. My best use is when you just need the work light but dont want to break out the extension cord for a 5 minute job. Cons: A bit heavier than a standard plug in light, but it is built like a tank. The base doesnt unscrew from the light. I assumed it did with the two screws on each side but they are for adjusting the angle, not breaking it down. Sometimes, if you have two people, you have one person holding the light and it would be easier and lighter without the base.
