Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Nintendo Switch

This game is so much fun. Takes some getting used to, with how to initiate a big turn and drifting, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll find yourself and your kids playing it for a long time! So many options for racing or battling, and a million choices for cars/tires/characters. Highly recommend!

Love it! The five stars almost dont feel like enough. Everything about this game is fun, and the challenges keep coming with new moods exclusive to the Nintendo Switch! If you have ever played MarioKart before, this is more of the same - fast, fun, and never-ending excitement. I dont think your the person I need to sell on this. If you have never played Mario Kart, and you have a Nintendo Switch...I mean, what are you waiting for??? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is not just another racing game - you race underwater, through the skies, upside down, through a toybox; there is so much to see and do and learn here. Plus, there is a learning curve, and the game is designed to help you become a better racer gradually, while still letting you take home the Gold cup. Single player is great, and playing this on the go with the Switch is ideal because each race is never longer than 5 minutes total. You could easily power it up in the doctors waiting room and probably finish a few Cups before being called back. And the multiplayer is great! There are other features designed to help even the odds between veterans and new-comers. From the Grand Prix to the Battles, its anyones game to win! The online is much more challenging, but after completing all the 150cc cups with Gold, you should be set to take anyone on. If you have a Nintendo Switch and dont have Mario Kart 8, you should question why you bought it in the first place.

This game is great! As a huge childhood Nintendo fan that has lost touch with them since the Gamecube, the visuals and new stuff added to MK8Deluxe is incredible. The old maps are redone so well, but kept the charm (looking at you Rainbow Road!) of the original maps I remember. Played this game with a friend and I havent had that much fun playing multiplayer in years. Also nice to know I kept my green shell sniping skills all these years. Ill skip out on Overwatch to get blue shelled into 8th place any day.

This game is so much fun! Unlike some other games, you don’t have to invest too much time to get enjoyment from this game. U can race a few games or a lot. This is my favorite switch game so far. There’s a lot of race courses and the game is deep enough to entertain you for a while. I highly recommend getting the online Nintendo subscription($20/year) to play against people from all around the world. It makes the game even more fun to play since there’s people out there with all sorts of driving skill levels and you never know just how a race will turn out. The price hasn’t gone down since the game came out, but for the amount of fun you can get from this game, It’s worth it.

One of my specialties is playing Mario Kart. Ive been playing most of my life, and this game already looked good even though I originally had it on the Wii U. It is still worth it, but that is what I think. Others might not. If you like, or even love Nintendo products, this is the game for you. If youre just now trying out games, still is a pretty good pick to buy. If you do not like the racing and competitive genres of games, then maybe do not buy this. Overall, multiplayer is fun, online is fun, and I have been playin since I got it!
