> 3 dayI havent really enjoyed a Mario Party since 7 or 8. I thought maybe I had become jaded and only liked the old ones due to nostalgia. The ones after that changed up the formula, but unfortunately, not for the better. Super Mario Party, the previous Switch Mario Marty, had a lot of good ideas and was a return to classic form. It even had good minigames on average. But bad balance (and thats saying something for this series) having only four lackluster maps really drained the fun out of the experience. Im happy to say that Superstars delivers on the complete experience, despite being clear nostalgia bait. The minigame selection is for the most part perfect. The boards are interesting classics, with slight tweaks to make them more reasonable for items and innovations after the game they occurred in. Even the hub world has heart thats been sorely missing. The items are better balanced in general. The master CPU AI is not completely pathetic. They even made lucky spaces actually useful (Im still mad that in Super Mario Party nobody thought that awarding only 4 coins on a lucky space would make them worth less than a blue space on the final 5 turns, what were they thinking). In short? It might be the best Mario Party of all time. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayThis game is awesome! I love it! This made me feel like I was a teenager again playing this game for hours on my GameCube! I was so excited to get this game! And it definitely went far and beyond what I was expecting form it! I would highly recommend it!

> 3 dayI’d say this is an overall improvement to the last installment, great maps, gameplay seems more balanced, can customize the game such as removing arbitrary stars after the game (you customize them also for example only having them added for specific things such as winning mini games) only flaw though is the character roster, seems lacking compared to the last. Overall a better game though.

> 3 daySo much fun! This is an awesome low-key game that any member of the family can play. I play with my older kids online as well.

Greater than one weekSummary: I recommend this game. Fun all around. I consider this game Nintendos apology for the terrible Super Mario Party game from 2018. Pros: +Many of our favorite, nostalgic maps and minigames from previous entries with improved visuals. +Online! +100 Minigames. +10 Characters with a decent variety. +Info about which entry the minigames are from and options to select certain sets of minigames. Cons: -I deducted a star because there are no meaningful unlockables (i.e. extra levels, minigames, characters, etc.). -Online isnt free. As a PC gamer, its always hard to pay for whats free somewhere else. In case you dont know. Its free to play most games online on PC. Just saying.

Greater than one weekWe bought this game for my 4 year old son for Christmas. He loves playing it! The previous version only allowed for one hand held joy con but I love this one allows for the two handed controllers. It makes it easier for my son to work the controls (since thats how he normally plays with other games.)
