    I was never really interested in any Mario Party games before this one, but a couple months ago I had the opportunity to play this specific Mario Party game with my roommate and his sister. Just from the couple hours playing it my interest was piqued, and I decided to order it myself. Within my first month of having this game, I had already played it for 26 hours. Its by far my favorite switch game out of the ones I own, but to be fair, I dont have a lot of switch games. I do wish the game had more maps to choose from, but things are made up for sort with all the minigames that are offered, and the fact you can work towards achievements, or buying (with game currency, not real money) music, stickers, character pages, etc. in Toads Shop. So its not JUST Mario Party, you have different options to choose from in the game. You can customize your own player card, too. Which I think is pretty cool! Id definitely say this game is the most fun to play with others, but its still very much worth it to play alone. And I would most definitely recommend this game. :)

    I played the Mario party games on the Nintendo 64 and this game showed some nostalgia in those. Played this game for hours with my cousins. Very fun

    As someone who grew up with this franchise, I can say that after the game cube the Mario party games have been devolving instead of evolving. This newest addition feels barebones and adds nothing new to the table.     Best mario party in years but suffers from only having 5 boards & recommending shorter length games. Mini games are fun, graphics are great. No motion controls which is a plus.

    IMPORTANT |: Joy-Con are not required to play any minigames in this release. ONLINE MULTIPLAYER with worldwide random matchmaking is INCLUDED AT LAUNCH! |-> Gotta say I couldnt help but toss up a photo of me wearing my safety glove as I get ready for some joystick-flailing mayhem in minigames such as Tug o War and Cast Aways from some of the best-loved Parties of Marios past!! (The twirling of a joystick [which led to multiple days of tender palm back during my youth] playstyle is still intact in this new release.) I havent played any releases in the Mario Party franchise since the release of Mario Party 8 on Wii. That was many years ago, but I can wholeheartedly say this release has me stoked with the desire of stickin my toe back in the water to end up diving in for a purchase. Mario Party 1-3 were Nintendo 64 releases, and boards from those three games are amazingly remade in this (alongside 100 Minigames that span from MP1 thru MP10)!! [Early datamined leaks of game files show there being a possibility of atleast two more boards being added to the game at some point - that would be WONDERFUL if Nintendo treated players to occasional board/minigame DLC additions to help keep things feeling lively and exciting.] ... If you never played Mario Party before the era of Wii, then Superstars might feel like a slight curveball in challenge design and how the boards operate within move sets. The glorious Bonus star is BACK in this release, which is great to see!! Call it the kid in me that longs for the Good ol days of 4-player splitscreen and such, but I much preferred the playstyle/challenges that MP1-3 presented that often kept me coming back for countless hours of sheer fun had. If you enjoyed any of the previous 3+ entries in the Mario Party franchise, then I can easily recommend this as a title worth checking out!

    I definitely recommend this game if you love Mario and the other Mario Party games. It is so fun, especially when you play with friends!

    This Nintendo game was bought as a Christmas gift to my grandchildren. The range in age from 17 to11 years old. The children love the game and is perfect for the age range of my grandchildren. They have been enjoying the game since Christmas morning.
