    As someone who grew up with this franchise, I can say that after the game cube the Mario party games have been devolving instead of evolving. This newest addition feels barebones and adds nothing new to the table.     So I wanted to clarify something for people who may have a switch lite. You carr able to play this on the switch lite with other people via online play and you dont need the joycons. Just thought this would help people with the lite since I got misinformation from both the store and Google

    Mario party is fun, no matter what. Great with 2 people, better with more. Ill always recommend it, especially as an ice breaker. I just cant understand why Nintendo wont treat this game right. It needs more boards, like always. This game is a step down with not as many playable characters as the previous version. No Allys, no custom dice for each character. It seems to have tons of mini games which is fantastic. Love the throwback boards. But there is just no reason this couldnt have been better. If theyd just listen to what fans want, this could be a top tier game.

    I’d say this is an overall improvement to the last installment, great maps, gameplay seems more balanced, can customize the game such as removing arbitrary stars after the game (you customize them also for example only having them added for specific things such as winning mini games) only flaw though is the character roster, seems lacking compared to the last. Overall a better game though.

    A must have game for Mario fans. It blows the previous Switch Mario Party out of the water. The best part is playing with an actual controller. It makes the game much more enjoyable vs using joycons. I love this game. Highly recommend.

    The graphics are much better the layout of the game is much better it doesnt feel so closed in you can play against other people online now when youre playing the boards theres more games even though a lot of them are retro games it just seems like it controls a lot better and there are some new games that are fun but once again Nintendo and three years hoping for that next 59.95 has limited how many game boards you have and it seems like when you use a computer player to fill in for the fourth person spot the computer player seems much more aggressive than the other versions of this game
