> 3 dayStill trying to figure it out. Made the switch from Living Cookbook, since it seems to be a dead product. The nutritional database is poor. They use the USDA nutritional database, but the user is unable to manually update it - you have to wait for Mastercook to send an update, or buy the latest version.

> 3 dayWas looking for a PC alternative to MacGourmet. Easy to use, powerful recipe and shopping list management software. Purchased MasterCook in that sprit and have found it to be ridiculously bad software. After an hour of trying to import and use my own recipes have come to the conclusion that I wasted my time and my money. The interface is clugy and difficult to use. The data management screens and dialogue boxes are dated and hard to use. Seriously looks like Windows Vista

> 3 dayI am so happy to be returning to MasterCook. The program is easy to use, has everything I need, and the customer service is prompt. I needed help converting my recipe files from another recipe program to MasterCook. Pam Erickson, from customer service, has been very patient and her directions have been easy to follow.

> 3 dayI have been using MasterCook for many years. My recent experience has been with the support team. I purchased MasterCook 15 and was also learning to use Windows 10. There were several issues I couldnt resolve on my own or with the written instructions. I contacted the support team through email and am infinitely satisfied with the help I received. Response was immediate and the person assigned to me stuck with me until all

> 3 dayI just updated from version 11 to 15. With the latest update from Microsoft of Windows 10, I could not print from version 11. 15 is similar but much more user friendly, and it prints. Importing my old recipes was simple once I figured out where they were stored. Importing from a web recipe is much easier, one click in most cases. I would definitely recommend this product. Perhaps the best part is scaling recipes. Say your recipe is for 4 servings and you want 12, two clicks and you have a print out with ingredients for 12. (I always mess up when scaling unless I write it down.) I have used it for many years, this is my third version. I will continue to use.
