I had a nagging suspicion there was a problem with my antenna and this told me my SWR was 20+. Antenna replaced, new one tests at 1.5 and Im happy. This is full-featured and well-built. Im glad I picked this one and have recommended it to several other members in my local SAR group.

It works to measure SWR and wattage, but the instructions are essentially worthless since they are poorly translated. Also, dont forget to order a patch cable. It doesnt come with one like others do.

Reads about half the power my Bird does on 220MHz.

This is just what the doctor ordered. Comes with the necessary adapters to get your PL 259 connections in. Easy to read screen. Small enough to carry on your GOTO pack.

Works great and I have not had any issues or problems with this unit. It does a lot for the money and I have tested many setups with it. It is small and easy to use and can charge from a usb port.

I bought this meter due having issues with a Latnex meter not correctly calculating SWR. Seems the Surecom is no different. Apparently, the newer models have this issue. Older models do not. Contacted Surecom about this and was a waste of time. ZERO help. Kept asking how many output watts does my NanoVNA put out. It doesnt put any watts out! Im not a radio expert by any means but I feel Im pretty confident I can read a cutting chart by a antenna manufacturer and can measure twice and cut once. I dont think I can get the SWR exactly to 1:1 on two different antennas. I think its an issue with the advertised frequency range. I checked it on a ham frequency of 146.52 and got a 1.72 SWR. Some of that could be the antenna isnt tuned for that frequency but it shows it can report something other than 1.0. This antenna was checked with a NanoVNA that was calibrated just prior to the test. Notice the difference in SWR between the SW-102 and the NanoVNA in the pics.
