Poor quality connections; pins inside the female connection broke off making the meter unusable. I will attempt reaching out to the MFG for warrenty claim. (Not holding my breath) F/up: crickets from mfg. Glad I did not hold my breath.

Got it charged it for two hours and hooked it up to my GMRS radio and I’m VERY SATISFIED!

Very well made easy to use to set swr on Gmrs radios.

Swr reads way too high. A stock antenna for a GMRS certified radio measuring swr in the 7s?. I dont think so.

This unit is an easy-to-use instrument for measuring forward RF power and SWR for the most common VHF/UHF bands in amateur radio. My unit was built with N-connectors for Radio IN and Antenna OUT, but also came with two adapters for PL-259. At first I thought the device was defective when it would not turn ON, until I realized you have to press the ON/OFF button and wait until a timer (shown on the screen) decrements down to 0. Then it turns ON. An instruction sheet is provided, but it is intuitive to use without it. The default setting will measure forward RF power and SWR. An excellent unit for the budget-mined amateur.

No, its not a Bird but it does the job very inexpensively. Yes it does have N connectors but comes with adapters to SO-239. Internal batteries charge by USB. Very intuitive and good thing, the instructions are fairly minimal. It shows power out, power reflected, SWR, AND has a frequency counter. It has a solid metal case (not drop tested!), covers 100-520 mHz and can handle 100 watts. I have a RigExpert AA30 which is awesome for HF but I was too cheap to buy the AA170 or higher. The SureCom does the trick for my VHF/UHF needs which is to check SWR on a couple of antennas and I am building a 2m quad so will need it for that as well. The only down sides to this little meter is it does not do an SWR curve or have software to plot one but those are only minor issues. So get one of these meters and some graph paper, plot your curve old school. Over all very satisfied with this meter

This little unit is an amazing value. It measures RF power, SWR and frequency, and has an illuminated digital display. Covers 125 to 525 MHz and runs off batteries or through its AC adapter. I like the N-type connectors, but it comes with 2 adapters to accommodate PL-259 / UHF type RF connectors. Overall, cant beat it for the price.

Great little meter. Prob not the most accurate SWR meter out there, but also not very expensive. But good enough for the average HAM/GMRS nerd. And good thing I purchased. I checked SWR on my shack set up running a KG1000G+ and Comet GP-6NC and SWR was 1.2:1 in the GMRS bands. Then tested same radio with a cheap Nagoya mag mount mobile antenna and SWR was over 3.0:1 on same frequency. Without this little meter, I wouldve never known. Possibly burning up my high dollar radio. Definitely recommend if youre new and just getting into radio.

I put this on my Hytera MD-782G, which is a 400 MHz radio, with high power, the meter reported 7 watts, and the frequency to be 221 mhz. Both readings were way off. I switched antennas, and got the same readings. Im going to try to return it. I just wish I didnt wait so long to try it out. The design looks nice, but it has to work better to be a good meter. Right now it is useless to me.
