Melissa & Doug Jumbo Numbers Wooden Chunky Puzzle (20 pcs)

Item is as described. Very colorful. My son loved it when it when I took him to be library so I purchase it for him and he learns great with it. The pieces are thick enough that he stands it up on a table. He found a creative way to decorate his Christmas tree with the letter.

So I bought two of these puzzles for my niece and nephews second birthdays. Ive given it to my nephew already and he loves it! He already had a very similar ABC puzzle (not the same brand) and he was saying the alphabet constantly and loved the puzzle. When we gave him this number puzzle and started counting with him, he was hooked within a week. We heard him saying the 123s all the time. It seems very durable-being solid wood and all. The colors and patterns are very very cute, but thats my personal preference. One thing is that the numbers go up to 20. I think for a two year old that might be too much and its probably better to start off with a 1-10 puzzle. But I dont foresee that as a big issue. If his parents focus on teaching him 1-10 then later moving on to the other digits then it should work just fine. Overall, I loved the puzzle, my sister-in-law loved it, and my two year old nephew seemed to really enjoy it!

I bought this puzzle for my 2 year old. She loves the Melissa & Doug alphabet puzzle, and it really helped her learn letters and how to do a puzzle. So, I wanted to build on that and help her with her numbers. The big disappointment with this puzzle is that there are multiple places where a number can fit. (ie, she can put the #16 in the #19 spot). So, it doesnt really help with the puzzle skills. And since some of the pieces fit anywhere, shes not really motivated to try to find where the piece really goes.

Great for toddlers learning numbers

3 kids later had to replace my 5year old Melissa and Doug alphabet puzzle due to a horrible flood. Always great quality.

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas he has played with it for hours it is so adorable and well-made. Very pleased with the purchase

I wanted something to help my daughter who is 19 months with her letters and this is perfect. She can easily match the letters, they are a good size since she still puts things in her mouth and cant choke. Each letter has two pictures that start with that letter which has been helpful when she is looking where to put the letter I can help by identifying the picture. You can also use them to spell out words (makes me want another set of just letters). Very versatile and great quality.

My three year old loves it! Colorful and the letters stand up----others do not. He can spell his name already. The letters are more Clear to see than other alphabet puzzles with too much distraction. Sturdy and well made puzzle.

Now that my 3yo is in school he loves sitting down at home to learn too.

I love buying my granddaughter Melissa & Doug products. I got her the alphabet version of this puzzle for Christmas and now she knows all of her letters (She turned 3 last week!) Now we will move on to numbers. This is a HIGH QUALITY item. Just play with the kids every day and soon he or she will know his or her numbers. Other Melissa & Doug that I have bought in the past and also loved are the Alphabet puzzle and Baby Stella. This is a great company.
