> 3 dayI bought this puzzle for my 2 year old son (who absolutely loves puzzles) for Christmas this year. Obviously he hasnt gotten to play with it yet (Christmas is still over a week away), but I received it and it was way beyond my expectations. Its very large, as are the pieces, so theres no chance in anything getting lost. Its also very bright colored, which is great visual stimulation. Im very excited for him to start playing with it. I also recommend getting the matching number puzzle as well.

> 3 dayMy 3 year old loves playing with this puzzle still even though she’s had it for a couple of months already! She loves looking at the bright pictures that accompany the puzzle and I love that the puzzle is wooden and durable.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my grandson years ago. When he was two or three, he would sing the alphabet song and run lmnop as one word. I started singing with him and pointing to the letters and the items around the letter so he could recognize them when I visited. By the age of 4 he was reading books. He turned 7 in October and reads contantly. His brother turned 4 in October also and I am waiting to see his progress from the same Melissa & Doug puzzle. They live in California and I live in Pennsylvania.

> 3 dayMy daughter loves this puzzle. We bought it for her at 18 months and she is now 2 and can name every letter. The only drawback is it gets a little messy when shes done playing with it because of all the pieces. I just put them in a small storage container.

> 3 dayIts a well-made product. The pieces of the puzzle do not sit flush with the puzzle board. That makes it easy for little hands to pick up the pieces (especially hands of the younger children that you dont want playing with it yet). My son likes to put together the single digits to make the double digit numbers (e.g. hell put the 1 and 3 in the 13 space, as best he can... it doesnt exactly fit.). 9 and 6 are different colors from each other, so it helps young minds determine which is which. The puzzle board itself is really quite large, compared to my sons other toys.

Greater than one weekNumbers are big and bold. Love the size. Great for little hands to grab. My only complaint is the 6 and 9 are interchangeable and fit in each others pot. The colors don’t match but if you are doing numbers outside of the puzzle frame, then they could be either one. Overall a great puzzle.

> 3 dayPros: My son loves all Melissa & Doug puzzles. I especially like this one because of the size of the numbers. They fit perfectly into the hands of a toddler. Cons: I am constantly looking for the numbers all over the house. There should be a website to order long lost numbers (13 has been missing for a few weeks now).. or better yet, how about coming in sets of multiples? Nevertheless, a great toy for toddlers to learn their numbers, build towers and play dominoes with! Definitely a puzzle that I would recommend!

> 3 dayWe love Melissa and Doug puzzles in our house! They are so bright and vibrant! This one in particular is great for any child new to learning the alphabet or what words begin with as each letter corresponds with an animals or some other item. Its very large too so its easy for play time with more than one child as well which I love!
