Melissa & Doug Jumbo Numbers Wooden Chunky Puzzle (20 pcs)

I saw this in my toddlers preschool and decided to get one for the house as well. My two year old has learned all the numbers from this. She does it over and over again.

Item is as described. Very colorful. My son loved it when it when I took him to be library so I purchase it for him and he learns great with it. The pieces are thick enough that he stands it up on a table. He found a creative way to decorate his Christmas tree with the letter.

I have always loved the chunky puzzles by M&D and this one is great. My daughter learned to count with this puzzle and it was great to mix them up and ask her to say each number before she put it in the puzzle. She is 4 years old now and a little old for this but my friends younger children love coming over and playing with it. I love how the pieces are large and easy for toddlers to grab.

I purchased this for my 17-month old daughter after seeing it at a friends house. This puzzle, in combination with a set of foam bath letters helped her recognize all of the letters in a very short time. She loves the puzzle pieces and carries her favorite letters around the house with her. I wish I would have gotten the version with both capital and lower case letters though. Ill probably be purchasing that soon.

My 3-year-old really enjoys this puzzle. Even though he found learning to count to 20 fairly easy, this puzzle has helped him recognize what the numbers look like, and it gives him great satisfaction to find the numbers randomly and place them in order. Plus he likes to count the animals or objects around each number if he forgets what number it is.

I wanted something to help my daughter who is 19 months with her letters and this is perfect. She can easily match the letters, they are a good size since she still puts things in her mouth and cant choke. Each letter has two pictures that start with that letter which has been helpful when she is looking where to put the letter I can help by identifying the picture. You can also use them to spell out words (makes me want another set of just letters). Very versatile and great quality.

Our 2-year-olds enjoy it and it cant be hurting the process of learning the alphabet. We dont mind gathering the pieces (to this and a dozen other messy toys) a couple of times a day. All part of a proud parents routine. :)

I researched every letter puzzle I think and am glad I got this one. Got my 19 month old interested in learning letters. She loves this and plays with it every day. 2 months later she knows her letters. Highly recommend!
