My cat eats toys. I am a veterinarian and years ago had to surgically remove part of a cat toy my cat ate, Since then I have carefully curated safer toys for him to play with and solid wool balls meet the need. They are durable. When they get too frizzy you can put them in a sock and wash and dry them and they shrink back up. These balls roll very nicely, too. Just the right size for a cat to pick up and carry like prey in their mouth, but not too small to swallow nor too large to be cumbersome.

These are wonderful! My cat loves them even though they dont make noise. I can throw them for him to play with. I dont have to worry if he decides to rip it up and eat it. If I step on one, it doesnt hurt. My only wish was there were more colors but this color is great and stands out really well.

Does not destruct easily by dog chewing unlike small tennis balls. I bought this to use as launching ball for our small ifetch. It is really 1-1/2 inches and works well with the ifetch. It is solid felt so I wash and reshape frequently because my dog loves to keep this in his mouth (it looks like it calms him). This might be hazardous for bigger mouthed dogs (choking). Oh, and my dog picks and swallow the felt off tennis balls so I watch out for this. But so far, none of the balls has broken apart!!!!!! With the regular launching balls, he will destruct/break them apart in a matter of minutes. BTW, my dog is an 11-lb rat terrier.

These wool balls are loved by my dog. Fits in her 11 pound mouth perfectly for throw & retrieve. Only warning I have is that they are small so they can get stuck under furniture . Guess who ends up doing this task & no it is not my dog.

I have two cats and they both love playing with these felt balls. There is just enough slightly loose material on the outside that they can grip and throw them all over the house. Absolutely perfect and what I was hoping for.

great for kittens they can get claw in them to get them from under furniture and I feel like they are better for them than plastic. They play with them all the time. I also bought the kitten cave and they like to play in that as well, although they don’t sleep in it much.

My cats started playing with this the moment I took them out of the box. With hardwood floors, I love how soft they are, while keeping a small amount of “bounce”

Received a similar ball with a bed we bought (from Meofia). Since that ball was a winner, we bought a pack of 6 since we cant keep track of them all. The cats keep hiding them on us. The balls are a great size for them to carry in the mouths when playing fetch.
