I had old Wemos (bought before Home app and a code to scan) that wouldnt update after hours so removed them from Homekit and ordered one Meross plug. I had read that some people had issues with 2.4/5 Ghz of Eero so went to Eero settings and turned off 5 for 15 min. I had one error--sure because I scanned and didnt get in plug to power fast enough (too hard to reach to scan after inserting in plug). I tried again through Homekit, scanned, plugged in quickly, a few minutes at most and connected-added to the correct room in Homekit and named it. Checked turning on and off via Homepods--works great, just like before-or in Homekit. Am ordering another for a different room. I would recommend if all you need is smart plug. I will add automation for the other one. House is redone completely but 116 YO so its not very amenable to Smart Home so this is my one foray into Smart Home LOL (aside from ATVs and Homepods)

I love this smart plug, it was easy to set up and took my like 30 seconds to install in using the Apple HomeKit app.

Using the Meross app, it was easy to setup the mini plug. You just plug it in, wait for the LED to start flashing, then follow the instructions in the app. I was also able to successful link the mini plug to Smartthings (You need to use the new Smartthings app, you cant do it with the classic app). Once you use the new Smartthings app to set it up you can use the classic app to control it if your prefer. There is also a button on the side for manually turning the plug on and off with a led to let you know it is on (LED is on) or off (LED is off). The plug is just also small enough that it also leaves plenty of access to the other outlet in the wall receptacle.

Easy to install and include in an automation with Homekit. It works perfectly!

It took a while to figure out the installion sequence but the device works great (so far).

Easy setup with automations to control our fishtank light directly from the Homekit Home app. Have already thought of a couple more applications and will get 2 more.

I use HomeKit and they’re a bit finicky. They usually work. I still recommend them if you’re okay with intermittent loss of function.

I have no problems so far. I have been using this for less than a week. The setup was very intuitive and easy.

I was truly impressed with this smart plug. All I had to do was just capture an image of the QR code with my iPhone and plug it into the outlet and then I planted a floor lamp into the plug. Within second the plug showed up on HomeKit and in no time My HomePod mini used Siri to turn the phone and off. The price is very competitive too! IK highly recommend it.

If you want a smart plug thats simple to use with excellent app integration, this Meross Smart Mini Plug is exactly what youre looking for! Just plug it in, add the device on your Meross app, and youre done in less than a minute. I love that the app makes it easy to control the device and has some powerful features like grouping devices together. The Meross app also works with IFTTT, so the possibilities for control are endless. The only downside to smart plugs that Ive come across is that they stick out from the wall further than the outlet, making tight spaces even tighter. Overall, this is a 5-star product.
