Prompt shipping, packaging prevented any damage to product. On first try, one of the plugs would not pair with wifi, so tried another one and that one worked. Plugs do not immediately pair with Alexa, one never did, I was hoping to be able to use my phone to control them while away, but have to use my Kindle instead. Have set them up on a timer sequence so will see how that works.

The order included 4. I only have two installed so far but they work great and were easy to install. I set them up in the house and then moved them to the garage and they handled the move readily.

I thought these would connect to my HomeKit and be voice controlled like my Meross light bulbs. Alas, I missed the part about them not connecting. I have to control the outlets separately through the Meross app. Huge bummer. Otherwise they work fine.

Ive installed and used many different brands of Wi-Fi devices over the years. The Meross brand has done the best job designing and programming their Wi-Fi line of products. They are well made and most importantly, installation instructions are clear, they install easily, and stay connected reliably. Dont waste your money on plugs that make you struggle to get them connected. These are 15A plugs so they work with just about everything and set up is easy with the Meross App or the ubiquitous SmartThings app. I look for the Meross brand whenever I buy electronics that would benefit from being Wi-Fi enabled. And no, I dont work for Meross. Im usually looking for the best prices, but with Wi-Fi products, Im willing to pay a little more for easy reliable connectivity!

Im using them with Google Home. All but 1 connected without any issues at all. The 4th one took several tries but finally connected and has been working fine ever since. My only complaint is that in a 4 outlet bank they slightly block the receptacle next to it. This is much better than it being too tall and blocking one at the top or button though.

Ive had quite a few Meross plugs around the home for the past few years and theyve worked great but recently one thats connected to a light has begun to flicker (on/off quickly) randomly at night. An indoor camera caught it and its usually around the same time +/- an hour or two. I double checked the router (its the closest plug to it) and electrical plug, all checked out. There were no issues with the other Meross plugs either. I tried resetting the smart plug as well which didnt help. I ended up switching to a Kasa plug on that one outlet and no more flickering. The Meross plug had worked well in the beginning then developed the issue. Overall good pricing and value, its unfortunate one developed an issue.

Had these over 6 months now. Ive primarily been using the Belkin Wemo Mini plugs for my home automation, and Ive been dabbling in various other brands as they would pop up with a great deal. The problem with the Wemo plugs is the 10A limit. In most cases, thats going to be fine, except that theyre generally going to be powered via a 15A circuit, meaning the circuit breaker isnt going to protect them from over amperage. I also tried the Amazon Plug, but I found it a bit too chunky, and Amazon has made a design decision that it will never provide the ability to return to its last power state after a power failure. This means that if I have something plugged into it that should usually be powered on, and I have a power blip, the plug will switch off and stay off. Not good. So, when I spotted this 4-pack at a great price on a lightning deal, I noticed they are rated at 16A, instead of the 10A most of their competitors are limited to. And, Ive been using several Meross products lately, and Im really happy with them. In the spirit of full disclosure, I will say that Meross has added me to their list of product reviewers and will occasionally reach out to me with products to evaluate for them, but I do not give good reviews unless I feel the product has earned it. However, it has provided me some decent exposure to their product line, and their customer service. So, I quickly jumped on the deal and bought these. I found their shape is very similar to the Amazon plug, except that their just small enough to allow two of them to be plugged into the same duplex outlet (unlike the Amazon plug). A bit larger than the Wemo Mini plugs, but with the higher current rating, thats not surprising. I found these are extremely easy to set up in the Meross app on my iPhone, and firmware updates are very quick and easy. Out of all the various brands of WiFi smart plugs Ive tried (Ive only tested WiFi plugs that dont require a dedicated hub), these are now my favorite. Its just a great product.

These are awesome. These link seamlessly I believe it would be accurate to say, with Echo Dot 3rd Gen. I have not yet used one with 2nd Generation Echo Dot but 3rd Gen is childs play just about. You download their app; follow the enclosed directions and youre halfway there. You then open the Alexa app (I have an i-Phone 5 mind you; and then it is ALMOST intuitive though intuitive is relevant. I have a background in personal computers starting with Windows 3.0 and including DOS 5.0 that I feel is useful in configuring things. I use to upgrade computers when you had Legacy cards that required jumping the pins in the days before but leading up to PnP [Plug n Play} where things pretty much are today. The point is for those familiar only with modern handheld devices there MIGHT be some confusion, but NOT necessarily. Very simple really but it can get confusing and possibly appear the device is not working right. These are awesome. Great price, they make it EASY for the end-user as far as Im concerned. Up and running in no time. I dont see where these do less than the higher priced alternatives. If the competitors have somehow made it easier to connect maybe they figured out how to connect to Alexa [an Amazon Echo Dot] for example without having to do anything at all. In summary there are two phases involved in order to connect. 1st follow the instructions using the app for a smart speaker; maybe Google; but definitely Amazon Echo Dots 3rd Generation which is what I am raving about and cannot say enough good things about here. Once you follow the directions and the WiFi plug is on the network Meross configures for you you go to Alexa App on a Dot hook it up; intuitive literacy required. Best I can sum it up. Bravo! 12 Stars or better! I am probably 100% certrain you wont be disappointed. If you are Amazon has an excellent; definitely no two ways about it among the top 3 best, best return policies known to human beings and machines alike; pretty sure. More than a decade of experience with Amazon with LOTS of purchases; very few problems and the problems I DID have have ALWAYS been resolved to my satisfaction. A happy ending never fails except among the most bitter of living creatures. Addendum: Follow the instructions that come with these plugs and you will most likely NOT regret your purchase. I close with this piece of advice: Careful purchasing too many smarplugs from different manufacturers. If you plan on buying a lot of them; stick with one or two different brands and that wil reduce the number of apps you wil have to load to your phone or compicate matters with Alexa

I have quite a few of them. Over the time it will fail and need replacement. For those who said not easy to connect you might need to check 1. update your routers firmware or2. just reset the router !
