Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

To be honest, I expected this to be just another rehashed remake with no real quality difference. But man, am I glad to be wrong. MGS in HD looks extremely good, and the lag from the original games (well, at least the lag from MGS3, havent played the others) has been taken care of. The controls now feel very fast and fluid, unlike the PS2 version where swinging your camera around a dense jungle caused the game to lag for a little bit. The game looks so sharp in 1080p, its amazing.

I love the Metal Gear Solid series. This is the best series since the playstation 2. I thoroughly enjoy this game.

Ive always been a fan of the Metal Gear series but never took the opportunity to play MGS3 Snake Eater. To prepare myself for the Phantom Pain I ordered this collection as Snake Eater came highly recommended. Im pleased to say it exceeded my expectations so much that I played through it twice in a row. The story is engrossing and complex as is the gameplay. The enhanced graphics make it hold up quite well considering it was released over 10 years ago!

MGS3 and MGS2 are 2 legendary games but MG peace walker isnt that good the graphics arent that much you couldnt tell it HD although its remastered... I loved the fact that there isnt auto save brcuase its kinda remaind the player of PS2 I first played MGS2 when I was 13 now Im 22 its been almost 10 years so it was great to play the game again

Games updated visually very well by konami. Great collection for any MGS fan or new comers.

This is an amazing collection of games , especially if you havent played them before. All of the games look better than ever and there is a huge amount of content in this package. A huge amount! It was nice to be able to play peace walker for the first time. It is a surprisingly polished and big game for having come out on the PSP. These games are VERY story driven so if you dont like following a story or listening to extensive dialogue and watching long cut scenes then go off to look for something else because that is what you are getting here. You cant really get the full experience of these games without following the dialogue. I like stories and so I like these games. The game play also requires quite a bit of skill, it might not be for everyone.

This is a good series if you like the slower (sneaking) type games the first one seemed old, but they got better.
