Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

The 2nd and 3rd games were awesome as usual. I usually only play snake eater. The graphics got a huge boost. There are more camos and wayyy better control of the camera angles.

I actually expected 3 different discs. but was happy that the 3 games were on 1 disc.I like MGS since it was launched. i never thought i would like shootem games and strategy. but it seems otherwise after playing MGS 4.

The best series around.

I never had the chance to play this series. Now that Ive begun to know Metal Gear, I think it is a good game, it has a lot of action and the story line improves as the story progresses throught it.

Best game ever in history of gaming......

Three of the best games of all time packaged in one cheap disc. I absolutely love the collection and the series itself. Not only can each game hold its own in todays generation, but it can also easily surpass most of the games the generation has to offer. The storytelling, although arguably convoluted, confusing, and maybe even a little ridiculous in the second game, is consistently marked by incredible topics inspired by history, politics, conspiracy theories, movies, and sociological philosophy. It is actually an awesome and gripping story regardless of any apparent hindrance caused by convolusion or depth. In my admittedly narrow opinion, it can even be considered one of the greatest stories ever told. Its absolutely captivating.

The Metal Gear Solid HD collection is just what it says it it. A remastered version of Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, and Peace Walker for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The description does not say it, but you are actually getting the Substance and Subsistence versions of Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater, respectively. This includes all the extras included on those special re-releases (My favorite being the fully controllable camera on Subsistence), minus the Snake VS Monkey mini game in Snake Eater. The remaster looks great in 1080P HD. Frame rate from what I can tell so far is a steady and constant 60 FPS. Altogether, I would say that this re-release, despite the exclusion of Metal Gear Solid (which is only $10 on the PSN for PS3 owners), is a must buy for anyone who wants to experience Peace Walker, Sons of Liberty, and Snake Eater again in remastered HD.

What more can you ask for? Its 3 games remastered for 1080p displays and covers about 40 years of the MGS series.

this is this my third time buying mgs3 and and 2. In peace walker the ps3 lags a bit whenever the camera does anything other than follow around the player or cut-scenes though. these instances are far and few between though
