> 3 dayFantastic product. I was looking everywhere for it for a reasonable/affordable price and it was finally on amazon over thanksgiving for just 30 bucks. I bought it and it got to me super quick. Awesome choice for a PS3 w/o backwards compatibility, and the HD graphics are not too shabby.

> 3 dayWhat can I say? 3-5 of the best games in the decade if not history with improved graphics and trophies all that for 49.99, how does that sound? sounds like win, right? Well, it is. Sure it doesnt include the never aging classic that is Metal Gear Solid(1), but it includes almost every other game from this awesome franchise (excluding MGS ops, MGS4, The game boy color game, etc.) I myself am loving this collection to the fullest, already have passed MGS2 and im leaving Peace Walker for last cause I havent ever played it yet.

> 3 dayThe Metal Gear Solid HD collection is just what it says it it. A remastered version of Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, and Peace Walker for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The description does not say it, but you are actually getting the Substance and Subsistence versions of Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater, respectively. This includes all the extras included on those special re-releases (My favorite being the fully controllable camera on Subsistence), minus the Snake VS Monkey mini game in Snake Eater. The remaster looks great in 1080P HD. Frame rate from what I can tell so far is a steady and constant 60 FPS. Altogether, I would say that this re-release, despite the exclusion of Metal Gear Solid (which is only $10 on the PSN for PS3 owners), is a must buy for anyone who wants to experience Peace Walker, Sons of Liberty, and Snake Eater again in remastered HD.

Greater than one weekIve wanted to experience all what the Metal Gear series has to offer for a long time, however due to different reasons I always passed up the opportunity to get certain game in the series and moved on, but not anymore as Ive set out on a personal quest to consistently play and complete every canonical Metal Gear title that has been released until now and what better way to start than with the HD Collection.
