El producto no correspondía con la imagen. Llego sin su caja en una bolsa. El UMD está en buen estado.

This game has it all. Everything that you could want about a MGS in a portable is here at last. It does a good job continuing the story from snake eater. Must have for the PSP.

It was too hard to control Snake and his compatriots in this game. The mission structure was nothing like the console iterations of Metal Gear, as levels were self-contained and not free flowing. However, i do realize this is an important plot point later on in Big Boss life leading to the eventual creation of Outer Heaven. The graphics and animation were excellent however for the portable, but the gameplay is restrictive and frankly boring. But, if youre an avid MGS fan, you must own this game, as it is part of the canon storyline.

This Metal Gear Solid game is great one to add on to your psp game collection. If you are a MGS fan, you must own this game. It continues with the incredible saga. Great action game to entertain yourself on the psp.

The game is pretty much a must-have if you want to play through all of the canon story of Metal Gear Solid. It fleshes out Big Boss character as well as a few others. Control-wise, I must say it definitely falls short of Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4 due to the limitations of the PSP (no right analog and only two shoulder buttons). It is a bit awkward controlling the camera no matter how you customize the controls, but you get used to it over time. The overall gameplay is pretty addicting, thanks in no small part to recruiting. That is what I spend most of my game-time doing. The funny thing about recruiting is that it essentially is kidnapping. You knock out an enemy soldier and drag him to your creepy truck. As you might have guessed (or probably know from elsewhere) in Portable Ops, you control more than just Snake--you get to play as any one of your recruits, except for the guy who is perpetually in the truck. This includes the generic-looking masked soldiers, mechanics, and doctors/scientists as well as the handful of unique story-related characters and secret characters. Fending off the enemy with firearms feels kind of clunky, but this is because I generally do not use my any guns aside from tranquilizers. My play style involves sneaking around and using CQC (close quarters combat) to knock out the enemy and then recruit them (yes, I recruit every enemy on each map almost all the time). The games story is fairly engrossing, especially if you have played the previous games (particularly, MGS3). Overall, the game is fun and addicting. Controls are pretty good. Gameplay is fun thanks to recruitment and the joy of knocking soldiers out before they know what hit them. And the story is worth your time, especially if you want to get the full Metal Gear Solid experience.

This game is terrible. This is coming from a big fan of the MGS series (you can read my glowing review of Snake Eater for instance). The camera and the controls are what do the most damage to this game. Without two analog sticks, controlling the camera without moving is almost impossible (and even if you take two hands or modify the controls to do just that it fights you the entire time making the effort wasted). needless to say where the camera automatically points is almost never in the direction youre interested in. The controls pioneered in the second installment of the series are very poorly carried over here. The aforementioned camera is a huge issue, but the lack of the two shoulder/trigger buttons hurts this game. A MGS-1 style game probably could have made an excellent PSP game, but alas, they opted for a control scheme not suited to the limitations of the PSP. The analog nub doesnt ave any speed control to it (not sure if this is the PSP or the games failure to take advantage of it) making the analog portion refer to directionality only. This makes fine-tune aiming difficult, and on a moving target impossible. (This is further complicated by the low resolution of the PSP). This means that due to terrible camera and awful handling/controls, both sneaking and gunplay (the only two kinds of gameplay in the game) are tedious and unpleasant affairs. Even if the controls were perfect, or this was ported on to an actual console, this is still the weakest game in the series. Level design is obnoxious, (ie 5+ minute long vent crawls with nothing going on is a common feature). The game repeatedly beats a dead horse with forced repetitious ojectives. Example of a typical level: - Upon beating the previous level you are given a 3 minute dialogue about the next mission objective. When you select the next mission, you are given roughly the same dialogue about the mission objective again. Upon entering the mission you immediately get a lengthy raido message about the mission objective again. Upon entering the room with the objective, it does 20-second cinematic pan of the objective, and you get a radio message about the objective. Once you approach the objective, you get a radio message about the objective again. You blow up the objective, and then get a radio conversation about blowing up the objective. After completing the mission, you then have a dialogue sequence again about how you blew up the objective. The MGS series is known for being overly verbose, but this game is almost a parody of it. Its only saving grace is that every second youre in a dialogue means its one less second you have to be playing with the games awful controls. Finally, theres the load time. Every time one of these dialogue sequences comes up, theres loading. dialogue sequence ends? Theres loading. Restart level? more loading. I have the PS-Store downloaded version (ie not the mini-disc) which I think would make loading less of an issue. God help you if you have the mini-disc. Do yourself a favor: dont ever play this game.

...although you get to take Snake anywhere, this game is far from perfect. One of its primary flaws is the exclusion of a second analog nub. This makes the controls a little difficult to get used to, and annoys when in certain angles (the camera). Another drawback is the fact that it does not feel or play like a Metal Gear Solid game. It is still pretty fun, especially since you can switch back and forth between characters, and you have the ability to recruit new allies. Its great for on the go fun, but falls short of an exemplary Metal Gear title. Give it a try, rent it first, if you like it then invest in it...

This game is great. I think in my opinion this has pretty good gameplay. I love the MG series. The controls can be a little iffy but you will get use to it. If you love the MG series you should add this to your collection.
