> 3 dayI prefer an automatic tuner but this one is great value for putting in the emergency comm prepper bag.

> 3 dayCall me crazy but I like this manual tuner, I like rotating the knobs and seeing the tuning results with the needle. I also perform this process with a new-fangled Nano-VNA, which shows a nice plot of the VSWR as Im tuning, and its a good way to see whats really going on. This model works nicely on 6 meters also.

> 3 dayHad I not looked elsewhere for instructions, I would never have gotten good results. I took off the cover and adjusted the dials to match the reed chokes. While there I found that the induction coil had never been adjusted or tightened to specs. That completed, I was able to get great tuning of my dipole for 40 meters.

> 3 dayThis excellent tuner antenna with its maximum 300 w and the ease of obtaining a low srw with easy to use controls. Its small size and low weight make it easy to move and connect to a base or mobile station.
