18-04-2025Price: 4/5 Build Quality: 4/5 Suction: 4/5 Ease of Use: 4/5 Emptying Can: 4/5 Cost of Use: 3/5 Overall this product is very good. I have been using Dyson non-corded vacuums for the last 10 years but decided to go with a corded bag vacuum. I got tired of switching out the batteries for the Dyson vacuums as it has become very costly (and also bad for the environment). I wanted something that would keep it suction power longer. This is my first bag vacuum, but I am quite surprised at how long each bag lasts if you have a medium sized condo. I dont care too much for the color, but other than that, I am pleased overall with the product. It has all of the attachments you need to clean around your home. The only downside that this vacuum has versus a non-corded vacuum is that it takes more time to set up. However, once you get used to it, it wont be a problem. I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayI previously had an upright stain. My dyson was always getting repaired at the warranty dyson shop near me. Once it was out of warranty it broke again and so I bought this Miele. I chose this model specifically because of its relative, lower price point and that it came with a carpet wand and separate hardwood floor wand in addition to an upholstery accessory. I feel like any and all vacuums should come with these standard. I was disappointed that I have to order a Miele 30 hepa air filter since the vacuum doesn’t come with one.... for a $360 device that’s a shame. I am concerned about this device using bags instead of a canister. I have a cat and a dog so let’s see how many bags I go through and if this device is more reliable than the dyson. EDIT: I just lowered my review. The cord is terribly short. Since I know how to work with electronics, I am just going to cut the cord and make mine bigger. For a $400 vacuum, I am a bit annoyed. Edit: 3 years later... the vacuum still functions like new. I am giving it one more star! ****

> 3 dayBelieve the reccomend vacuum per living space recommendations. I bought the vacuum thinking it would be fine for an 1800 sq ft house that is mostly carpeted. It works great but unfortunately I have to change the bag every time I vacuum the house. I have two non shedding small dogs, two shedding women (hair) and old carpet old carpet which seems to be too much. This is not a complaint on the vacuum, just an opinion on what it can handle. I would definitely recommend buying a unit with a powered beater bar (brush) for any size carpeted area.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a 12-year-old Kenmore that had developed a bad cord. I will be surprised if this thing lasts 2 years. It feels cheap. The cord is very short. It’s probably fine for an apartment, but it’s much too short for an American house. Guess I’ll need a good 10A extension cord.

> 3 dayAs all my floors are wooden/tile and a few area rugs I chose a canister over my old shark. I liked that my old shark had a dust cloth attachment with the hard floor attachment but could not find a good vacuum with that. That being said I was getting discouraged with the bagless vacs due to their ability to scatter dust when emptying, and their inability to carry parts beyond 3 years. My last cleaner prior to the 6 year old Shark was a Kirby, and while it was a pain to do hardwood floors, it was simple easy to get fixed (only 3 times due to human error) and it lasted 23 years. I wanted a vacuum that will, hopefully from the reviews, last longer than 6 years and that can get fixed by local vacuum store. I have used this 3 times and so far it works great, on board attachments make getting the mouldings and windowsills dusted quickly; it fits ALL the way under my sofa and the prior one did not. The biggest downfall is the cord is way to short and I must maneuver its locating to do my entire kitchen, living room, dining room, hallways, etc and we have an open floor plan. It is light, easy to store. The rug attachment with the beater brush is fair, however I have to put the suction level on quite low or the beater bar stops moving due to too much suction. Hopefully in [6] months I will let you know if there is less dust in my home and the cleaner stays in excellent working condition
