Greater than one weekI had my own housekeeping business for 10 years and used many different types of vacuums my clients owned (Oreck, Dyson etc). My absolute favorite hands down was the Miele. I always swore Id get one myself one day. Well, 12 years later I finally broke down and got one. :) Ive never spent this much on a vacuum but I knew it would be worth it!!! Ive been using it for 2 weeks now and let me say....I WISH I had bought one way sooner! I feel my carpets and furniture are actually getting clean now! Buying this I knew it would work for my needs. Our small home is mainly tile with low-pile carpet in 2 bedrooms plus 2 larger rugs. I have no issues with anything except I really wish the cord was a little longer. **Id gone back and forth between the Miele Pure Suction (cheaper) and this one. Im super happy I paid the extra for this as it comes with the 2 brush heads instead of 1.

> 3 dayWhy is it that if you want a good vacuum in America, you have to buy one made by a foreign company? I dont know (I do know), but I do know that Miele is the way to go for vacuums regardless of where you live. The suction power is incredible and, even without the power head attachment, really deep cleans carpets. I just wish Id been able to afford this one first, instead of all of the useless $100 and $200 vacuums weve lost along the way. Perfect for pet hair - we have a border collie and a long haired cat, and plenty of short-haired pets. The only thing thats come close to the ability to get pet hair out of the carpet like this thing, is carpet scrubbing steam cleaners - and who wants to break that out each week? Perfect for stairs - our stairs have been a wreck for ages, because our uprights could never provide anything close to a good cleaning solution for stairs. The suction power, long hose, secure attachment locks, and especially the low overall weight of this unit make cleaning stairs easy.

Greater than one weekPrice: 4/5 Build Quality: 4/5 Suction: 4/5 Ease of Use: 4/5 Emptying Can: 4/5 Cost of Use: 3/5 Overall this product is very good. I have been using Dyson non-corded vacuums for the last 10 years but decided to go with a corded bag vacuum. I got tired of switching out the batteries for the Dyson vacuums as it has become very costly (and also bad for the environment). I wanted something that would keep it suction power longer. This is my first bag vacuum, but I am quite surprised at how long each bag lasts if you have a medium sized condo. I dont care too much for the color, but other than that, I am pleased overall with the product. It has all of the attachments you need to clean around your home. The only downside that this vacuum has versus a non-corded vacuum is that it takes more time to set up. However, once you get used to it, it wont be a problem. I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayIt has been a long time since we purchased a new vacuum cleaner and we were worried that it would not be as good as our old one was. It was much better! I recommend this cleaner.

> 3 dayThis brand is great. The quality of the product is very good, solid motor which performs and does the job as expected. It’s working for over a year and no issues whatsoever. All adapters have been designed so the use of this vacuum machine is very flexible.

> 3 dayI have had a Miele vacuum before, a used one that I had for about 2 years. When my current vacuum conked out I decided to go with another Miele and love it. My daughter let me use hers when she moved back to NYC. It was about 2 years old when she lent it to me and when she moved back to Seattle, she used it for another 2 years. It is really great on carpets and my my wood floors too.

> 3 dayWife was having a hard time using her old Dyson. It was exhausting to use and constantly needing me to make the suction change between wand and head. Always used one like this one, personally. Wife is very happy with this one. Great suction that is adjustable. Light weight. She does not have to work as hard to use it. Allows her to vacuum places that she could not get into with Dyson. Thus far it has been an excellent machine. Appears to be engineered and built well.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a 12-year-old Kenmore that had developed a bad cord. I will be surprised if this thing lasts 2 years. It feels cheap. The cord is very short. It’s probably fine for an apartment, but it’s much too short for an American house. Guess I’ll need a good 10A extension cord.
