> 3 dayFirst off, functionally I had no issues with this smart plug and has performed well in the time Ive had it. Aside from that, getting it to a point of being functional was quite a chore. The minimal documentation included was barely adequate but provided clues to setting up the app. Registration is required to do anything and if I were to rate that alone, it would be one star. Register on my phone? No. Register on my tablet? No. Register on my computer? Not quite. It actually took trial and error and then a combination to create an account. (I would think this would be the easy part so I would consider buying more of your product Gosund.) App installed (finally) and with that came the tedious task of actually connecting the smart plug to it. Again, documentation is quite poor. What it didnt tell me was that I had to be in near darkness in order to see the indicator blinking. Needless to say I wasted a lot of time trying to get the dang thing to blink in normal lighting conditions. Other things that the documentation doesnt tell you... you have more switches in the app than what are available on the device. I had 5 for a three outlet switch. (6 outlets but three are always on.) One of the extra is for all three switchable outlets and the other extra is to turn off the USB charging ports. And since it doesnt tell you which is which, its more trial and error for you to get the name right. The USB ports also have a light to indicate they are getting power but its only slightly more visible in normal lighting so if youre checking them, best do it in a dark room. Once connected, the app seems to work fine for turning the switches on/off. I would like to point out that the app appears to be one big, and quite unnecessary, advertisement. The plug functions are buried. somewhere.... and what appears to likely be a design error or change, the switchable plugs are on the right-hand side of the outlet (looking at it) and not on the left as the documentation and app depicts. Each switchable outlet has its own LED to indicate its on/off status. The LED on the non-switchable side never turns off. The app does have schedule and countdown capabilities like other smart plugs for remedial scheduling. In relative terms, it was fairly easy to add the skill to Alexa. While it was tedious, it was nowhere near as difficult as setting up the app. Be warned there are two places to change the names of the switches but you have to edit the name in the smart plug screen for Alexa to recognize the new name. (The other names are apparently ignored.) I have only done remedial on/off with Alexa at this time but it does function. Overall I will be avoiding Gosund products based simply on the poor app usability and documentation.

> 3 dayPROS: The form factor is good for those not wanting a power strip on a cable. Three controllable outlets plus a bank of 3 USB-A charging ports are handy. CONS: After a few months, the strip has started to react to Alexa endpoint checks, and turns the outlets off, then back on after a moment. This used to happen occasionally, perhaps once a night. Now this power toggle happens randomly 6-10 times in an evening. I have reached out to Gosund support, with no response after a few days.

> 3 dayHave a half dozen or so of the single smart outlets and needed one that had more than one outlet so gave this one a try. The additional USB ports are handy too. So far with a year or so of daily use it works great for switching on several lighting devices at certain times. I also like that only half of the 6 outlets are controlled so you can have 3 other things plugged in that dont lose power with the button that is on the unit. Well thought out.

> 3 dayRIP. 1/10/22 to 4/18/22 Way too young to die! 2nd unit failed today. 4/18/2022 to 7/23/2022 3 month life span THE GOOD Purchased 1/10/22 and set it up in my bedroom to control bedside light and iPad and iPhone chargers. They were plugged into the smart switch side. The always on side I plugged my Alexa studio and Alexa sub. Worked great. I was able to have Alexa turn lights on and off and same with chargers. I also programmed plug so chargers were off when I wasn’t home for safety. I like this so much I bought a 2nd unit couple days later. The App and Alexa is very easy to use and set up. THE BAD Came home today and could not control anything on smart switch side and always on side was working. Went to app and it read offline. Nothing I did would get it to respond. I then tried to reset device. Could not get button to light. Unplugging and replugging after a minute time that did not work. Opened box of other unit I purchased. Renamed switch and app found it and I am back up and running. I will update this review in 3-4 months and see if 2nd plug lasts any longer.

> 3 dayI like that it also has USB ports. But note that you can only control the right side. Whatever is plugged on the left will have to be turned on/off manually
