Mini Smart Plugs and Smart Outlet Extender

> 3 dayI purchased this unit to be installed in our TV nich. This way I could remotely power on/off outlets as the regular plug is behind the tv and shelving system. Whenever I need to power down an item I can... The only downside at least for me is, it only seems to have remote/smart abilities on half the unit. I am fortunate enough that I dont need all of the outlets to be smart.

> 3 dayFirst this was the hardest plug to get connected to the internet and then I set a schedule for it to turn the lights on and off and it doesn’t work half the time, oh and every 3-4 mins everything flickers off and back on nonstop all day…this is for a bearded dragon set up!

> 3 dayI love gosund products I have a few other smart plugs and they are all great, but this one goes offline at least once a week and I have tried all the troubleshooting on their help page and the only thing that works is unplugging it and plugging it back in, which is annoying. Other than that it works great and was easy to set up. **UPDATE** It now goes offline at least twice a week which is incredibly annoying

> 3 dayBarely fits on the wall because of white plastic thing. Its very annoying and makes me feel anxiety if the outlet gets on fire

Greater than one weekIm not really sure why but I keep having the issue where I find a light or fan or water pump is or isnt running when it should be. I use these to control aquarium and terrarium equipment and so far I havent had any catastrophic failures due to missed on/off timers but if you plan to use it and need it to be reliable I would possibly suggest a more expensive unit. I have moved all equipment that is critical off of these timers and onto the new casa power strips. Now I just deal with the frustrating fan that is running for 12hrs instead of 30min or the light that didnt turn off and ran all night long. Other than that it works most of the time.

> 3 dayI actually purchased this so I could turn a window AC unit off/on when I was not at home. I have 2 cats at home and our new rental heats up rather quickly. I could see the inside temp and if the unit was actually off or on thru my PetCube cam. It worked great! Fast-forward to a few days later and our fridge thermostat has gone out so this plug is keeping our fridge food from freezing using the schedule feature. I need more of these in my life!

> 3 dayPROS: The form factor is good for those not wanting a power strip on a cable. Three controllable outlets plus a bank of 3 USB-A charging ports are handy. CONS: After a few months, the strip has started to react to Alexa endpoint checks, and turns the outlets off, then back on after a moment. This used to happen occasionally, perhaps once a night. Now this power toggle happens randomly 6-10 times in an evening. I have reached out to Gosund support, with no response after a few days.

> 3 dayWant to make your home into a smart home, but you rent and dont want to install electrical switches and outlets? Then here ya go, but you already knew that so let me tell you its easy to set up on your phone. Easy to link to your smart speaker (I use a Google Mini on my G-Home account) and talk to Alexa or say Hello Google this outlet makes it work. And if you have a streaming stick, this Surge Protector has a USB port to save that plug as well. (one of them is Wi-Fi also) With your light bulbs and controller you can get your apartment voice control ready at a super low price point, and this is one of the tools that make it possible. I have two and want a third one for the kitchen.

> 3 dayI was very excited for it but had to return it for a surge protector. The Bluetooth surge protector was more expensive, but I needed to make sure all my items were grounded. Maybe it would be best for small items but not something you’d want to possibly lose like a cell phone.
