Replacement unit on kitchen sink. Sits about 1/4 inch shorter than the older model. Still, works fine.

Bought a cheap generic brand from my local hardware store and while the price was 1/3 the cost of the Moen unit, it really did not work well. The Moen unit gives a strong steady water flow.

I cant believe Im writing a review about a water faucet aerator, but I am. Id replaced my downstairs bathroom faucet aerator with one I purchased at Lowes. To say I was unhappy with it would be an understatement. It was so restricted that I ended up with four separate streams of water. I was so pleased to find this Moen unit, with a higher flow rate. It arrived a day earlier than projected. Took the one from Lowes off. Put this one on. Problem solved. One healthy stream of water at a nice rate of flow. Ive always had great results with Moen in the past. It will always be Moen in the future.

Easy to install just make sure that if you use pliers you tape the teeth or use a soft cloth to prevent scratching the chrome. Water flow is much better. Looks brand new.

Moen branded part (etched on part itself) - oddly the original part removed had no branding or marking at all... a plastic part in the original had broken rendering the water stream rather chaotic - this part/assembly contains a surprising number of pieces and screens! So while I was initially dismayed that I had to buy the entire assembly, the way it is made it is probably necessary to sell it this way - and the price is reasonable anyway. The faucets aeration worked perfectly again after installing this part. Install is nothing more than unscrewing the old one (it had provisions for an open wrench) and screwing in the new one (which again oddly, had no provisions to use a wrench - probably for good reason, it can only be hand tightened).

I ordered this on January 31, 2021, and received the 2.2GPM faucet aerator just like the listing said. I unscrewed the old aerators with 21 years of scaly hard water buildup on them and replaced them with these shiny new ones, all of which work perfectly. Very satisfied!

If youre reading this, yes its the one youre looking for in terms of flow and stream quality. To convey the sound (great stream quality) of this, imagine someone cooking a steak in a movie. Sound effects added, youre hearing a perfect sear sounding from what MUST be a 3 inch thick frigging cast iron skillet. That unwavering airy SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS is what your faucet will sound like. You may be more familiar with the sound of a truck tire stabbed with an ice pick. Or, a long long time ago there existed the snowy sound of a TV... on a channel... with....... NO BROADCAST FROM THE STATION!!! Oh man........ I just realized Im old enough to remember when theres nothing on TV was a statement of fact - that no viewable content was being broadcast on any of the VHF channels. Where was I Ah, buy this...
