Moen 3919 2.2 GPM Male Thread Kitchen Faucet Aerator, Chrome

I could have bought a cheaper brand, but, I have been impressed with Moen, since I bought my house. The builder had installed Moen faucets in all my bathrooms and kitchen. It is easy to work with and this aerator lasts a long time, 15+ years. So, it is worth every penny.

After trying countless other aerators, nothing compares to the Moens. Without having any test results, I put all my money on these as having the most aeration, and least amount of splashing. They also work very well with low water pressure, still providing a nice aerated stream. (this is where cheaper aerators always fail). Ive used these in over 1500 different residences. If you ever see anyone throwing away an old Moen faucet, be sure to grab the aerator off it first.

Bought these to replace the aerators in our ORB faucets. Cheaper than getting the ORB part as long as your screw cover is in good shape.

I guess Im an impatient person, but the reason I bought this item was to reduce the time for my kitchens faucet to deliver hot water. The 2.2 GPM flow takes much less time than the 1.5 GPM aerator that came with my faucet. Aerators these days seem to be high tech compared to older models, so that must be the reason for the high purchase cost. Anyway, replacing the aerator was a breeze, and I am well satisfied with the new flow rate.

Replacement unit on kitchen sink. Sits about 1/4 inch shorter than the older model. Still, works fine.

I try to conserve water every way I can, but its nice to have at least one sink with enough water pressure to rinse everything off of my hands. I ended up just using the insert in my existing threaded cover since my faucet is the brushed nickel look. But it fit perfectly and now I have a nice shiny chrome piece for future use.

I replaced my old aerator with this and voila! Everything was perfect after that. Ive never seen such a perfect flow of water from that sink.

Perfect fit. Repaired our Moen faucet, the stream was spraying uneven all over the sink. Just what we needed
