Wow, how good is this? It is great! Expidious shipping, easy installation. We were having a weird skim of some oily white substance in our bathroom sink once we ran hot water through our Moen faucet. We contacted a plumber via phone and setup a visit (3 WEEKS OUT). We decided to install this replacement aerator while we waited...bingo, no more problems and no $235.00 plumber service fee. BRAVO!

Before buying this, I bought a generic version at Lowes, where they have stopped carrying the name brand Moen. The Lowes knock-off was substandard and didnt give the pleasing aerated flow like this one does.

Easy to install & perfect.

I had an Aerator that kept popping out of the sink. I tried putting Teflon tape and tightening the Aerator as much as possible, but to no avail. So I purchased this Moen to replace that craptastic old one. What a difference! It does not pop out and actually has a much nicer flow. I have two sinks in my bathroom and the other sink still uses the old Aerator. The flow is not as nice.

I had purchased a cheaper, and readily assessable aerator that was at my local home improvement store. Big mistake, performed awful. Purchased this genuine Moen replacement part. My faucet is just like new now. Very happy-

Moen branded part (etched on part itself) - oddly the original part removed had no branding or marking at all... a plastic part in the original had broken rendering the water stream rather chaotic - this part/assembly contains a surprising number of pieces and screens! So while I was initially dismayed that I had to buy the entire assembly, the way it is made it is probably necessary to sell it this way - and the price is reasonable anyway. The faucets aeration worked perfectly again after installing this part. Install is nothing more than unscrewing the old one (it had provisions for an open wrench) and screwing in the new one (which again oddly, had no provisions to use a wrench - probably for good reason, it can only be hand tightened).
