> 3 dayI bought this for my dad after he stayed at a senior living for Physical and Occupational Therapy. I noticed each restrooms had 2 bars positioned by each toilet and I wanted to do the same. I got the 36 inch bar to accommodate the 16 inch space in between each wall stud and it fit perfectly... Only thing, I could only use 2 screws on each side, due to the 2 inch stud. If the stud was 4 inches, I would of been able to use all 8 screws. I tried pulling on it, and it feels pretty sturdy, so Ill just leave it as is. And with the cover plate on, you cant tell that I only used 2 screws on each side. Would definitely buy more if I need and its much cheaper buying it here on Amazon, compared to our local big box stores.

> 3 dayDear Moen, Your brand name is gold- it has immense value for a good company, so why do besmirch your brand with cheap, foreign hardware?! Fire your hardware buyer and hire someone that knows what they are doing, and dont let the accounts drive decisions over pennies. Your brand is worth more than that. I bought two bars. Both exactly as described and very well made. The hardware was CRAP. Two of 12 (two bars) screws had tilted (bent) heads, they were a coarse thread pitch (hard to get into a 2/4 even with a pilot hole), and the head slots were too shallow and the wrong shape--- couldnt keep a #2 Phillips in them without them camming out and tearing up the head. I quit after destroying two of them about 1/4 shy of victory. Did the hour round trip to ACE Hardware and got 12 properly pitched stainless steel screws with poper #2 heads and had both bars installed in no time. Hex or Torx heads would be even better. If you buy these, thow all but one of the screws away, take it to your favorite hardware store, and buy some quality hardware to install them. Youll save time and youre blood pressure will be lower.

> 3 dayI saw that the hole pattern on the new Moen bar was different than my current rusty grab bar and envisioned a trip to the big box store for tile drill bits. But when I held it up to the wall, I noticed that its semi-circular slots could be adjusted right/left to align with different hole spacing including my situation. A job that could have taken an hour or more, took 5-minutes. Another item off the list! Thanks Moen!

> 3 dayNeeded a safety grab bar to put out at step sons house for his stairway up to his porch. This was a perfect fit, been in place for about 3 months now and works for us when we visit. Quite sturdy, was easy to install. Out in the weather and holding up well.

> 3 dayUse mounted and not suction bars. Critical for every tub or shower.
