> 3 dayI love Mora knives. Ive never ordered one and been disappointed with the quality. This one is no exception, where quality is concerned.. But I was a little surprised when I opened the box to find that the cyan color Id chosen was really more of a baby blue. This knife is a gift for my daughter, and she doesnt mind that its lighter. She is actually pleased by this. If it were a gift for a boy, I might expect to hear, that looks like a babys knife!. You and I both know that a Mora is a hell of a good knife, no matter the color, so I only took off one star; for the misleading picture/description. Will buy again!!!

> 3 dayAfter several months of research it was evident that Moras were a favorite amongst all knife enthusiasts, so I decided to buy one. Let me just say that was a purchase I am glad I made and am definetly going to buy more. This knife is excellent for many reasons: 1) the 4.1 inch blade is long enough for larger tasks like food prep and light battoning yet small enough for fine carving such as making traps/snares 2) the Scandinavian grind is not only great for woodworking but it is very sharp that will help with day to day slicing tasks 3) the grippy handles are ergonomic and the handles are very grippy. Also the shape allows for comfort in a variety of grips 4)the knife is very light weight making for a good hiking knife 5) the blade is stainless steel so there is little blade maintainence needed( all I do is rinse the blade w/ water and wipe it dry)doesnt rust easily 6) at around $15 the quality of knife you are getting is practically a steal 7)the sheath has tight retention and has a belt clip for belt carry(personally the way I carry it is by running some para cord through the belt loop and wearing it like a neck knife) I say the only drawback to the knife is that it is arat tail tang meaning the knife tang runs about 3/4 into the handle. This may be a problem for those of you looking for a tank of a knife.however, for us normal folks this knife is great for every day use and light camp tasks. Thanks for reading this quite long review, but once you purchase and hold the knife in hand youll know what I mean.
