    Best for the money.

Very pleased with this purchase. Knife grips well and minimal slip risk. Still, I added paracord through the handle to provide additional slip safety for my hand while cutting. I appreciate Mora making that possible by having the small hole in the handle. I use this knife for car camping purposes. Does a ton of jobs well. Live the burnt orange color for visibility and loss prevention. Never understood why non-warfare people want a knife that is colored (black/green/camouflage) so it would be harder to find if you misplace it.

I seem to have gotten a returned knife. The tip was chipped, like someone tried prying with it, and there were fingerprints and plier marks on the blade. Starting to like Amazon less and less.

A great value for a soundly made knife. Durable shave sharp out of the box. Fast bacoming my daily go to companion.

I’ve got three knives from this manufacturer: A blunt end, blaze orange model that floats, a basic green one with a narrow blade and an all-plastic sheath that clips securely to a pocket, and this one. This is a really fantastic design. The blade is wider in case you need to beat on the spine for some reason, and the handle is perfectly comfortable. Of course it’s a razor-sharp, east to maintain edge like my others. The fire starting rod is easy to use & works well. In case you haven’t bought one of these before, you’ve got to scrape the paint off before you start using this. Once that’s done, whittle some curly chips onto dry tinder, and then use the back of the blade to shoot sparks at the metal shavings until they catch. It’s more challenging than using a pint of diesel fuel, but easier to carry. I don’t see the purpose of the scalloped grind near the pointy end of the blade. It looks cool though. The sheath isn’t my favorite. I like the plastic clippy ones better. Also, the place your thumb lands to push the knife out is smaller than on my others. Still, an absolute bargain and a life long tool.

I knew the knife would be great. The name is one the standard bearers of outdoor knives. Razor sharp, comfortable to hold and grippy. What I wasn’t sure of was would the blade strike some sparks on a ferro rod. Man! Am I impressed. The flood of sparks I can make of the spine of this knife are crazy. It is now an essential part of my SAR kit via the molle attachment on the sheath. Disregard any negative comments on this. Any trouble perceived is most likely user error. Mine is on tight and has held on with a fair amount of abuse. I would highly recommend this knife for any bushcraft or basic camp task. By the way I believe this knife is a 3/4 tang.

Great knife! I have several different Mora knives of varying sizes and builds. This one rivals the heavy duty version of the Companion for heft and use. The 90° spine is a plus, as is the small ferro rod included. Theres also a diamond sharpening strip, but Ill never use that except for chipped edge repair as its way too coarse to maintain the fine edge this comes with. Ill stick with whetstones and stropping, thanks. Seems like a gimmick rather than practical. The dual grind is interesting and functional for finer work near the tip. While I prefer carbon steel for bushcraft, this one has the stainless blade. Its JUST a hair thinner than I like for serious crafting like batonning, but is still robust enough for that - could be just a little thicker, especially when using the more brittle stainless. This ones going in my hiking pack.

Mora knives are the best value for quality and you get the most for such a small price. Every knife comes razor sharp. I own 9 Moras and use all of them. Dont take my word for it about how great they are go on U-tube and find out for yourself

Great all purpose fixed blade. I like the shaved front of the blade for precision work. Yet the base of the blade is very robust.
