Needed FAT 32 format sticks for some older applications. These worked great. Would recommend. Good value.

I have never had so much trouble with a USB stick until I got these. File system gets corrupted if you breathe on them them too hard or forget to say thank you after use. Dont trust anything of any level of importance on these things. GIFs? A list of your favorite colors? Pictures of that dog you follow on Insta? Too valuable for these pieces of data corrupting garbage.

I bought the 32gb with 3.0 usb and the data transfer is fast, a great back up flash drive for my files.

Works well, no problems configuring. It is just what I needed as a transport/exchange drive for non-network connected computers or travel data acquisition. Just dont count on them to be fast. File transfer proceeds at 2-10 MBPS so they are not designed for real-time data capture (e.g., video). But they do just what I need, so as long as this is what you expect, they are spot on.

Chinese thumb drives are hit or miss. These Mosdart 16GB drives are better than others Ive tested that look the same. Ive done a capacity test using FakeFlashTest and a full read write test using H2testw on two of the 5 and they both passed. I also ran a CrystalDiskMark speed test and read speeds came in around 24 MB/sec which is respectable for a USB 2 drive. Write speeds were around 11-12 MB/sec which is also respectable given the price. Running ChipGenius these are supposedly made by Alcor Micro but show up as Generic and the actual flash is supposedly MLC by Toshiba. The VID is 058F and the PID is 6387. Interestingly these have a red LED inside but only a few of the colors let the LED shine through. The LED blinks when youre accessing the drive and is on steady when its recognized by your operating system. Bottom line: I wouldnt trust any important data to these. And, if youre in a hurry, opt for name brand USB 3 drives for only a few dollars more per drive. The trick with the big brands (especially Sandisk) is avoiding fake counterfits from China. At least with these youre not paying for a name brand and getting a generic Chinese drive anyway.

They are good quality and easy to use. I like the color.

This review is for the mosDART 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive, 3 Pieces. I have noticed a growing trend in USB thumb drives and memory sticks. It seems that one is hard pressed to find the actual memory size one is looking for, because, as in this case, a device that is sold as a 16GB flash drive is actually only 14.8GB of usable storage. (I recently purchased a thumb drive that was allegedly 64GB which in actuality was only 57.7GB of usable space.) These numbers dont add up no matter how you calculate it. While it is true that some space is required for the File Allocation Table, it should not consume 1.2GB of space. In fact, Windows reports that only 8KB were used to hold the format information, which translates to 8,192 bytes. A far cry from the missing 1.2GB of space. 16GB is equal to 17,179,869,184 bytes, yet the mosDART 16GB USB 2.0 Flash drive only has a capacity of 15,922,782,208 bytes, or 14.8GB. Even if one uses 1000 instead of 1024 to calculate the amount of storage, it still does not come close to being the capacity listed in the description. Most disappointing.

Not much to say as they work very well. They are actually plug in and use; nothing to setup or prepare.

I am 80 years old and know that in the next few years it will be necessary for me to downsize to smaller space. I am a writer and have documents in three ring notebooks. Knowing that there will not be room for all of the notebooks. Your product with the colors will allow me to save things according to color. I also like the metal protection on the attachment that connects with the Laptop. it is amazing how it uplifted my mood knowing I can bring so much data - so much of me with me. - I am grateful for companies like yours.
