> 3 dayI own a condo where metal studs were used and the stud centers are not the regular 16” or 24”. I wanted to hang my 65” LG TV (65UK6500AUA) to the wall. I read all the reviews and settled on this mount. The amount arrived in just a few days and I unboxed it and found it to be well packed and had every possible mounting screw for the TV included. As to installation, I did not use the template since my studs turned out to be on 18” centers. The hardest part of the installation was determining the height and horizontal location to mount the bracket based on a desired height and location of the TV. While the hardware for mounting to metal studs is not included, you can mount to metal studs if you take the time and effort to mount it properly and use the correct fasteners. I used Hillman ¼” Strap toggles. The strap toggles have a metal end that mates with the back of a metal stud. I used a finish nail to find the edges of the metal studs and drilled a ¼” pilot hole into the metal stud followed up by the ½” hole required by the strap toggle. I used ¼” x 1” fender washers on the ¼” strap toggle bolts. Once the ¼” bolts were loosely installed in the strap toggles, I leveled the mounting plate and tightened down the bolts. Next, I grabbed hold of the mount and put weight on it to make sure it was securely fastened to the studs. Mounting the TV took all of 3 minutes. A few more minutes adjusting the tilt and leveling plat and I was done. Total installation time was about 90 minutes with 20 of the minutes determining the location. I highly recommend this mount.

Greater than one weekI have always purchased Sanus brand TV wall mounts from Costco thinking they were the best/most robust. Boy was I wrong! Unfortunately I didn’t discover these Mounting Dream mounts sooner. These are much better than the Costco Sanus brand mounts in all areas: from ease of installation, to included items in the box, to overall build quality (I must admit the Sanus are pretty heavy duty mounts too). To begin with... the installation was FAR better than all the previous wall mounts I’ve ever purchased. Yes you still need to work some to install it, but it not only comes with a cardboard wall template to drill holes into the wood studs, but it actually comes with the correct size drill bit included in the box! It also comes with two bubble levels: one to adhere to the cardboard template to level it (ingenious!), and another one to insure the mount is level when attaching to the wall. I’ve NEVER seen this included before in a wall mount! It made installation A LOT easier! They also include a bolt “wrench” to screw the bolts into the wall. Not only that, but it also comes with an included HDMI cable in the box. And the build quality is very robust. This is definitely a heavy duty wall mount! As a result it weighs quite a bit (so make sure to secure it to wood studs). I’m never going to buy a Sanus brand wall mount from Costco again. I understand now why it’s called “Mounting Dream”!

> 3 dayThis thing is a beast! Weighs a little over 20lbs and is solid. It has a good full range of motion, so you shouldnt have to worry about viewing the TV at angles as you can turn the TV pretty much any direction you need. It is packaged very nicely and comes with a variety of screws and spacers to allow you to attach the brackets to the back of pretty much any TV. It also comes with velcro straps to allow you to tie up any wires behind the TV. This was my first mounting experience and it is definitely a 2 person job to allow you to easily attach the mount to the wall and then hang the TV on the mount. If you are wanting the TV at a certain height on the wall, just make sure you measure the distance from the bottom of the brackets on the back of your TV to the bottom of the TV so you can make any adjustments to either how high/low you are screwing the brackets onto the back of your TV or how high/low you are attaching the mount to the wall. The bolts that attach the mount to the wall are over 2 inches long and about half an inch thick, so assuming you mounted it to studs or concrete correctly, this thing isnt coming down.

> 3 dayI purchased a 95 pound - 86 tv and Amazon recommended this for mounting ot on the wall. Very easy to install. Very heavy duty! My tv took 2 people to hang it but this bracket holds the weight effortlessly. As a bonus it moves in and out and tilts as well. Make sure you have a stud finder for installation. Heavy tv must be anchored into the stud! 4 bolts no less or more needed. It took me 1 hour to install but I took my time to make sure it was perfectly centered with the room. I would definitely order it again....

> 3 dayOverall, I am very pleased with the product and extremely pleased with their support. They took something that is rather complex and made it DIY. These mounts have to accommodate different TVs and wall positions. I purchased the 2298 model because it has the maximum flexibility as my wall outlet and stud positioning are not ideal. This mount was able to compensate horizontally and vertically by about 4 inches which made it perfect. Likely the most confusing part is picking the right spacers to go with the TV bracket screws and this required me to contact their support team as Samsung is not very clear in their manual, in my book. Their Mounting Dream support team was very patient and responsive with me and you can tell they know their stuff. The arms are a bit stiff and I will hit it with some WD40 (recommenced by their support team and manual) as this bracket is by no means flimsy. Net-net: I like this system, and their support, so much that I just ordered another one for the living room. Now I need to figure out which TV to buy for that room LOL.

> 3 dayActually, 4.5 stars. The only reason that I deduct a .5 star is the fact that upon arrival the TV mount component was not aligned with the wall mount component. I opted for 5 stars instead of 4 simply as I did not want to skew the review solely based on this. By hand I was able to correctly balance and align this, however it took some patience and muscle to do this. It would have been very easy to think it was faulty upon arrival had I not been willing to dedicate 20+ minutes to correctly aligning this. Other than this fact, I have my Samsung 65 TV mounted on the wall with this. It handles the TV without an issue. My TV is ~60 lbs - so not lite, but certainly not the heaviest. I have the mount screwed into studs in the wall - and I would never do it any other way. If you trust sheet rock to hold up your TV, you better have a nice little 32 ultra-lite TV - otherwise say goodbye to your one grand of Washingtons... Yes, I recommend this mount. I really enjoy how it allows me to adjust the TV in two directions - I can tilt the TV up or down and side to side, pull it out, set it back, and JUST FLAT OUT ENJOY MY GREAT TV. It just gives me good options and I enjoy that as I like to adjust my viewing experience based on where Im at, or the people in the room. You can certainly get cheaper mounts, but to have one that will support a heavy TV while still giving you such great adjustments - NOT SO MUCH! Youve spent so much on the TV - why are you going cheap on the mount?! Get this one.

> 3 dayI think this is one of the best mounts for sell at this time, I install TVs for a living, and this one ranks at the top of my list. Best thing about this mount, Is that it is heavy and well made, also it comes already put together, all you have to do is 1= Mount the vertical brackets to the back of your TV 2= Mount the TV mount to the wall. 3= Then hang the TV on the TV wall mount, 4= there are two U brackets that screw to the brackets that attached to your TV these will keep the TV from coming loose from the TV wall mount. One thing that i really like about this mount is that it has two swing arms, this will let you push the TV straight back against the wall. Make sure that you look at the back of your TV and check that this mount will not block the inputs or power on the back of the TV. Some reviewers have given this mount a low rating because it blocks the inputs on the back of their TV. As someone who installs TVs for a living, I blame the TV manufactures for deciding to put the inputs and power in line with the mounting hole on the back of the TV. With all the space on the back of a TV, why put the inputs and power connections there? why not put them off to one side like a lot of them do, well out of the way of the mounting holes. The attached pictures are the mount installed above a brick fire place, the TV is a 65 inch curved TV.

Greater than one weekI thought this mount would be overkill for the Samsung 55” UHD TV Series 6, since its VESA hole spacing is 200mm x 200mm. But it turned out to be the perfect combination of solid and flexible. The 2 wall studs I ended up attaching to were 13” spacing, due to two walls coming together at that point. But this worked just fine for that. I used the provided M8 x 50mm bolts and 2 plastic and 1 metal washer for each bolt. Of course I also used the plastic sleeves provided by Samsung as well. That combination of washers was just right to keep the bolts from murdering the innards of the TV. The only issue I ran into was that the provided 7/32” drill bit provided was too small in diameter to properly drill the holes for the lag bolts. I needed to go up one size to a 15/64” bit. Then it was perfect. I think this is why I keep reading reviews complaining about the lag bolts shearing off upon installation. Do yourself a favor and use a 15/64” bit for this install. I am impressed with the solid nature of this mount and am glad I went with this more expensive version.

27-11-2024This was a very complete and solid TV mounting kit. It comes with everything you need including a wall template, level, mounting screws of numerous sizes. I needed a larger bracket because our house is framed with 24 in on center studs and this fit the bill. Instructions and template were easy to follow. I also was able to place a box in the wall behind the mount large enough to accommodate a UPS, though the mount sits flush so I couldnt fit the frame or face plate on the wall box. We mounted a Samsung Series 7 70 inch TV. All the screws we needed were provided and with a partner its an easy install and connection of the TV. Everything is tight and solid and moves nicely without rocking or tilting. Very happy with the purchase. Already have two more to mount in other locations in the near future.
