> 3 dayGiven the fact that I already own 2 other TV mounts from this exact brand already. I knew that I was purchasing the best without any questions. Although the description may say for 45 TVs and up... I think its more around the lines of 60+. Thats my opinion though... This mount is huge and can potentially be bigger than some 45 TVs... So just a heads up. The TV that I installed it with is a 65 and I feel that it is perfect for the size. Also wanted to praise this buy with the things it includes (which I dont think they advertise enough). With the purchase you get the instructions to put it up (or you can YouTube it), a paper stencil of the mount to make your marking on the wall extremely easier, 2 levels (one for the mount and one for the mount paper stencil), a drill bit for mounting screws, a socket wrench for the mounting screws and all the little extra parts if needed. I really recommend this company for any mounting, but would also recommend for you to do the research on the perfect size for your TV. As stated above, I feel this one is perfect for anything 60+.

> 3 daySo last thing I wanted was our monstrous tv on the living room wall. But if you decide to give in to this idea, it’s the one to buy. The range the wall mount has is nice. You can pull it forward and side to side. Slides easily and it’s sturdy.

> 3 dayI used this wall mount for a 65 Sony. It is very solid and sturdy, I have no fear that it will come off the wall. It includes all possible combination of screws etc that one might need for its installation. I liked that most of the mount was first attached to the wall. Then the two vertical pieces attached to the TV. The TV could then be lifted and hung on the wall mount. The two brackets that hold the TV to the mount could be attached without physically holding the TV in place. One of the horizontal bars right behind the TV blocked the optical out connector that I wanted to use. I was able to slide the TV about an inch off center on the wall mount to get around this. It is also possible to change the location vertical mounts to the TV up or down depending on the TV. It is easy to swivel the TV as needed. I face it straight ahead to watch TV from my recliner or swivel it left to watch while using my elliptical. The only thing I still need to do is find out how to hold the TV perfectly horizontal. There seems to be a little play that allows the TV to get a bit out of horizontal when I swivel it. However, once set to horizontal it stays there until I move it again.

> 3 dayI used this to mount a Samsung 58” TV. The TV feels very secure, I have not once been worried it would fall. The installation process was a bit more than I expected but it was doable. However, be prepared as the mount itself is rather heavy. My wife and I tried to install at first but we ended up waiting until I could get my dad to come help so we could have two people hold the mount while another tightened the bolts. The provided spacers were not right for the TV I had but I was able to use a few washers and the Samsung provided spacers instead. On an ongoing basis I would say the mount itself has held up well, however, moving the mount in and out from the wall can be a little tough as it has a lot of resistance. Otherwise, the quantity of the build is great, it looks nice when the TV is out and you can see behind. The included level is garbage but the cords organizers are a life saver, way better than my normal go to zip ties as you can undo and redo as many times as you want (cable management is an art not a science!). I ended up putting a media box behind the tv and it fit perfectly in the cutout of the mount without comprising any if the integrity and everything is hidden from view. I would definitely buy again.

> 3 dayOverall, I am very pleased with the product and extremely pleased with their support. They took something that is rather complex and made it DIY. These mounts have to accommodate different TVs and wall positions. I purchased the 2298 model because it has the maximum flexibility as my wall outlet and stud positioning are not ideal. This mount was able to compensate horizontally and vertically by about 4 inches which made it perfect. Likely the most confusing part is picking the right spacers to go with the TV bracket screws and this required me to contact their support team as Samsung is not very clear in their manual, in my book. Their Mounting Dream support team was very patient and responsive with me and you can tell they know their stuff. The arms are a bit stiff and I will hit it with some WD40 (recommenced by their support team and manual) as this bracket is by no means flimsy. Net-net: I like this system, and their support, so much that I just ordered another one for the living room. Now I need to figure out which TV to buy for that room LOL.

> 3 dayAfter comparing higher cost equivalents, including one that also allowed for sliding the TV laterally across the length of the mounting bar rail (a feature I would not need), I decided to try this one. This has solid construction and was pretty easy to attach to my 65” OLED LG TV. Wall mounting instructions are clear and the template and small level were a nice convenience. I did not use the included HDMI cable because it was too short to connect to my AVR and it felt flimsy compared to the pair of certified ultra HDMI cables I acquired for this updated HT system I was setting up. The wall base was easier for me to install on my drywall location as it is located in a 3/4 finished basement and I had visible access to the back of the wall to validate stud locations by sight. There are no problems with side to side swivel and front to back motion, Setting the screen tilt angle was a little less intuitive, but not a big challenge and I will not likely change that adjustment now that I have it set. If you do not have previous experience installing a wall mount, reviewing a couple videos on YouTube to see how pros do it may be helpful, as it was for me. A couple I saw clarified how to accurately measure wall bracket placement to end up with your desired TV height. My wife was adamant about wanting a comfortable line of sight so that she did not have to significantly look up to watch the TV. It is common to see pics of TVs mounted high on walls, but some experts suggest having the center of the screen at, or only slightly higher than a straight line view from your normal sitting/viewing position. Their bottom of screen to floor measurement suggestion is around 34-40” and some of the YouTube videos show how to get that adjustment correctly. This screen height also aligns with setting the front mains and center channel speaker height where the tweeter is approximately ear level for optimal listening (as recommended by experts); thus with the aforementioned screen and speaker height suggestionsand setting those would make it so the speakers and screen are ideally placed in the same approximate horizontal axis. Bottom line to this review: Thumbs up on cost, build quality, clear instructions and a feature mix that includes 12+” screen extension from the wall, left and right screen swivel, adequate up and down tilting, and plenty of mounting bolt options that seem to accommodate a wide range of TV brands.

Greater than one weekIts HD, its smooth to move. Didnt budge when I pulled on it after install before the TV was installed. Easy to install, just a drill, stud finder, phillips and 1/2 wrench. Only downside to this mount, is they give you a small cheap 2 or 3 level. But if your mounting it on your own, I am pretty sure you most likely have a decent level. Rather them keep the level and save me a few bucks than include it so I can toss it. So still 5 stars overall still.

> 3 dayOkay Amazon, you just rejected my first review - love the machine intelligence. I spent a lot of time reading reviews on AMZN and the web on mounting options, mounting bracket reviews, etc. and settled on this one. Package arrived in mint condition (rare as its heavy) and contained all the necessary pieces and parts, including 2 levels which were very handy if you didnt own any. The instructions were shockingly clearly and easy to understand and the mounting itself pretty simple and straight forward. I ended up having to mount this using some solid wood stringers as the studs in my wall are 24 apart and I couldnt make it work where I wanted it to, namely the exact center of the viewing room. Not a big deal really. Using 2 people to mount would make it even easier so if that is an option then go for it. I am glad I took some extra time and really measured out dimensions because had I defaulted to using some formulas (well presented) on the Internet my TV would have been mounted way, way too high. My advice is to take your time, get a friend or partner to help, and it will be an easy 2-3 hour job start to finish (locating, measuring, modifying, hanging tv + cable mgmt) I used some heavy duty 3 Torx wafer head lag screws to mount the bracket to the solid wood stringers - worked great. Mount comes with a variety of machine and lag screws of different lengths to accommodate for a variety of options and TVs. Final mounting was easy though a true 2 person job. I like the ability to adjust the TV at a slight (5-10 degree) angle to cut down on glare from the back window....nice touch.
