> 3 dayMounting brackets and arm installation is straight forward and simple. Be sure to do it on a soft surface like the foam packaging the it comes with or you could damage the screen. After ensuring solid DP port connection and power cable connection, it became apparent that the DP port is unable to detect my graphics card. I cannot test to see if the HDMI functions as the menu toggle switch does not work. I tried seeing if unplugging the DP cable entirely and plugging in the HDMI will make it switch but the message DP Port Signal Not Detected still shows It does look nice for the guests that come over if you can pretend that it works. Adds to the room and makes the table look complete.

> 3 dayGreat for someone on a budget, and if you are upgrading from an older 1080p monitor capped at a 60Hz refresh rate(like me), this thing will blow your mind with how smooth everything feels while gaming. Might update this as i get more time with it, only had it about a week. Cons: No HDR, would have sucked ass anyway at this price point, doesnt bother me though. VA panel, nuff said, wish it was IPS but at the price, i can deal with it(and you should too) Included HDMI cable ... would not work with my Desktop or Laptop. I may have gotten a bad cable, but something to note. I expected it to not work with my laptop(its old AF circa 2013), but after building my new pc. it was shocking to see it also didnt work plugged into a 3070... Displayport works just fine. Pros: Price. 1500R curve is just right imo for flight sims like dcs if you only have one monitor. The on screen menu is relatively easy to operate due to the joystick input.

Greater than one weekDont get me wrong; I love these monitors. Theyre very nice, they run at 2k@165hz, wonderful quality to them, and they look stunning! However, the model I got was advertised as a model with HDR, which is why I spent more on this listing than the other MSI models with the exact same specs. The listing says MSI 27” WQHD (2560 x 1440) Non-Glare HDR Ready 165Hz 1000R Curvature 1ms 16:9 AMD FreeSync Premium Height Tilt Adjustment Curved Gaming Monitor (OPTIX G272CQP) I received the OPTIX G271CQP. Not thrilled about the issue but I dont think Ill be returning them until I need to replace them. Thrilled with the quality, not thrilled with the misinformation in the listing.

> 3 dayThe color on this is great. Shipping had no damages, no dead pixels. For gaming? You can tell there is a big ghosting problem and that is due to the monitor being VA although nothing in the description refers to it being that. I assumed that because it was described as a gaming monitor and 1ms that it would be IPS, as that’s the standard. VA isn’t really meant to be for gaming and fast movement which is weird that they would make this for fast response even though the refresh rate has pixel dragging. Lesson learned from the experience, don’t do what I did. Unless specified in the title, or not added in the product info, assume any monitor is a VA or TN, not IPS.
