I dont like the color rendering of this monitor, color adjustment is difficult and useless. It is not suitable for the work of artists and photographers. And for games, too, is not the best option.

I just want to say that first off, I never have written a review before. I dont believe I have ever been so dissatisfied with a product enough to feel the urge to write one. However, after buying this monitor THREE separate times, only ONE of the monitors have actually worked. First monitor had a black hole in the screen, and it would literally move around and expand. Obviously I had to return it. It was a hassle just to return the thing. The second one worked fine, every once in a while, if I clicked the power button, it wouldnt automatically turn on. Now, I just leave my monitor on. Now this third one, which I ordered to replace the first one, just came today and let me just say, I am either absolutely unlucky, or MSI just makes their monitors with terrible quality. The power button is literally jammed and wont turn on. Its stuck and theres nothing I can do without having to take it apart myself and fixing it, which I wont do because I ordered it and it should have come in decent enough condition for it to turn on at the very least. I understand more than anyone else that sometimes, defective products are manufactured and a customer just receives it. The simplest thing would be to just return it and get a new one. Except when that whole process alone takes a long time to do, not to mention that this has happened twice already. I am just more astonished that 2/3rds of the products that I have ordered from MSI have issues with them/came broken. Safe to say, I am not longer interested in trying a fourth time. The second monitor works fine and looks fine, aside from the power button issue where it just doesnt start up all the time. The simple fix was to leave it on. However, I would just buy a different monitor honestly. It sucks because otherwise, I would say this is a decent monitor, but I am not about to re-order a fourth one and pray that by some miracle, I dont get a defective product again.

I got this for a great deal so it was well worth keeping. Its just not what is advertised. I will take pictures and add them to this review because words dont really describe it.

If this monitor seems cheap for a 1440p monitor its because it is. Im maybe 5 months into my monitor and I already have a dead line of pixels going across the top of my screen. if you want a great 1440p monitor thats going to last your going to have to spend a quality price. Not to mention all the ports are on the BOTTOM not the back the bottom. you have to flip this thing completely upside down to plug in new cables and its a huge pain in the ass, especially once youve already attached the stand. I personally will be looking for a different brand. MSI doesnt seem to make quality products like they used too. UPDATE: ive had this monitor less than 1 year and it is officially dead with Ghost image imprint. tried swapping between DP AND HDMI. no luck. Ill have to get a new monitor and I wont be buying from MSI

The color on this is great. Shipping had no damages, no dead pixels. For gaming? You can tell there is a big ghosting problem and that is due to the monitor being VA although nothing in the description refers to it being that. I assumed that because it was described as a gaming monitor and 1ms that it would be IPS, as that’s the standard. VA isn’t really meant to be for gaming and fast movement which is weird that they would make this for fast response even though the refresh rate has pixel dragging. Lesson learned from the experience, don’t do what I did. Unless specified in the title, or not added in the product info, assume any monitor is a VA or TN, not IPS.

Nice clear picture, no noticeable picture bleeding, no dead pixels. Its just a solid 2k monitor for a darn good price, I would definitely buy again! Also, if you are trying to decide between the cured or straight monitor, go curved, it really does feel more emersive.
