13-06-2025Currently I use BenQ Zowie XL27s. They are 6 years old, 1080p, 120hz, and look great. I purchased this monitor because I finally got my hands on a 3080 and needed to upgrade my monitor to 2k. For the price, the specs you are getting on paper are amazing. First thing I really didnt like is the stand. It sits very low and there is no height adjustment at all. Its not terrible, but it is inconvenient. I booted it up and right away could notice the picture quality was off. I tried calibrating the settings (which all have to be done manually since this model has no presets, also inconvenient), and, after about an hour of trying, came to the conclusion that the pixels were misaligned. I believe it was most likely a factory defect with my unit. Given the affore mentioned inconveniences though, I will be selecting a different monitor.

> 3 dayI was really looking forward to using this monitor and upon opening the box setting up the screen on my desk turning it on I was left disappointed because part of the screen is darker than the other half. I looked it up and it’s says my screen is broken and that I need to get a new one! How can you send out a broken screen! And now the screen won’t even turn on and says it has no signal!

Greater than one weekMounting brackets and arm installation is straight forward and simple. Be sure to do it on a soft surface like the foam packaging the it comes with or you could damage the screen. After ensuring solid DP port connection and power cable connection, it became apparent that the DP port is unable to detect my graphics card. I cannot test to see if the HDMI functions as the menu toggle switch does not work. I tried seeing if unplugging the DP cable entirely and plugging in the HDMI will make it switch but the message DP Port Signal Not Detected still shows It does look nice for the guests that come over if you can pretend that it works. Adds to the room and makes the table look complete.

> 3 dayThis monitor is great for what it is, however the description of the monitor given by the seller is false advertisement, they claim the monitor is hdr compatible. However the monitor realistically isn’t hdr compatible. Other than that, the monitor works fine.

> 3 dayIf this monitor seems cheap for a 1440p monitor its because it is. Im maybe 5 months into my monitor and I already have a dead line of pixels going across the top of my screen. if you want a great 1440p monitor thats going to last your going to have to spend a quality price. Not to mention all the ports are on the BOTTOM not the back the bottom. you have to flip this thing completely upside down to plug in new cables and its a huge pain in the ass, especially once youve already attached the stand. I personally will be looking for a different brand. MSI doesnt seem to make quality products like they used too. UPDATE: ive had this monitor less than 1 year and it is officially dead with Ghost image imprint. tried swapping between DP AND HDMI. no luck. Ill have to get a new monitor and I wont be buying from MSI
