> 24 hourI went on a brush purchasing spree and ended up purchasing a100% boars bristle brush, one mixed with boar bristle and nylon pins and then also one of these with wooden pins. This brush with the wooden pins feels so nice it has become the one I reach for everyday automatically. This brush it is kind of like a comb but gentler and more relaxing if that makes any sense at all. I have straight to wavy hair that is fine in texture but thick in quantity. These bristles get right down to my scalp but do not feel harsh. Because I have fine hair it tangles easily and the brush is fantastic for removing the knots. I do think it works well to distribute the natural oils in my hair from the scalp to my ends. I have long hair and often find my top greasy and my ends dry but since using this brush that hasnt been the case and I have been able to go longer between hair washes. I have also seen a noticeable lack of static with regular use. For most of my life my hair has been a somewhat frizzy mess full of static. Having used this brush on regular basis (as in it is the only brush I use) my hair is no longer a frizzy, flyaway mess. I wish I knew about these a long time ago. The brush seems to be well made, it is very pretty and is not super heavy. I would recommend it and would have no problem giving it as a gift which I plan to do for my niece who has really thick, naturally curly hair.

> 24 hourI have had another olive wood brush for some time, and I love it. But it was getting quite old and missing a few bistles. I ordered this one as a replacement, and I like it very much except that the bristles are a tad smaller in diameter and not quite as comfortable as my old one which was also made in Germany and is olive wood. But over all its a good brush.

> 24 hourAfter first time using my hair felt so soft. I have very thin hair and this made it feel so great. I will be ordering more of this brush just to have on hand. Also ordered the boar bristle brush. Love the butterfly on them. As I collect blue butterfly’s had to add these to my collection ( so glad I took a chance on these ) used fuller brush for years and these are 100% better. Love, love, love this wooden brush. Would give 100 stars if an option.

> 24 hourIve never been much of a brush guy, either keeping my hair short enough not to need one or using a comb when its longer. This Desert Breeze PWW brush is very different from others I considered (mainly boar bristle), and in all the right ways. It feels great (in the hand and through the hair), smells lightly yet lovely, and cleans easily. I have thick, straight hair that I slick back and the wood bristles glide through easily without pulling. The lines arent as fine as a comb, but still preserve the hairstyle. I think the brush is a simple work of art, and probably over-engineered. I appreciate the boutique-like packaging as well. I dont even use a comb anymore.

> 24 hourAmazing brush! I was hesitant to purchase this brush but because of all the positive reviews I decided to give it a try. This is by far the best hair brush I have ever owned!!! It makes my scalp feel wonderful because the bristles are firm enough to stimulate my scalp & it untangles my fine hair without pulling or breaking it! I am going to buy another one just to keep on hand because this brush is that great!!!

> 24 hourWooden bristles are the way to go for boosting shine and reducing frizz. This is an excellent quality brush, and easy to clean. I dont even need the $10 brush cleaning rake/scrub combo, I can pull the hair out by hand because the shape at the bottom of the bristles doesnt pinch the hair, and the ends of the bristles dont have heads that catch it. Fully satisfied.

> 24 hourAnd I love it! Its worth the money, its lightweight but it feels and looks well made, high quality definitely, lovely butterfly pattern. Its soft on my scalp and detangles really well. I have thick wavy hair prone to frizz and it works great on me. My mother tried it and she has thin hair, I already ordered another one for her!
