Greater than one weekI must admit that I was reluctant to try Neat System and Cloud Scanner after reading all of the less than favorable reviews here. However, I also researched many neutral consumer reviews and consistently found the Neat system, specifically the Cloud Scanner, at the top of most of the reviews. So, after weeks of research, I finally made the decision to move forward with my purchase. After nearly one month of pretty heavy usage, I have found the Neat System and Cloud Scanner to perform beautifully. I had hundreds of receipts and documents that I had saved over the course of the year and have input each and every one of them, without one single problem. The scanner is fast, accurate and works perfectly. The Neat filing system overall is extremely easy to use and has been a blessing in helping me organize all of my business related receipts and documents, as well as my personal documents. I can now easily access my files from any computer, including my smart phone to view, modify or input documents and run reports. I had thought about purchasing the Neat System and scanner for quite some time and my only regret at this point is that I waited so long. Well done, Neat! Thank you.

Greater than one weekI have always wanted one because I am bad about keeping up with papers and was hoping this would help. Customer Service Sux. I have not found away to actually talk to them. I did find a Face Book page and also found I maybe the only one on it. I asked my question any way with no response. I can not get the software to connect to the Unit to build my build my Files on my CPU. Finally accidentally found away to get it to drop into my drop Box so that will work just as good, even though I am not getting full use. Hell I couldnt even find an email address for Support that would have worked too as long as they respond right away. I do see a Warranty card so I do not know if it has a Warranty of for how long. I do not like the 3 month trail for neat cloud and dont know if I can take it off and point to something else. I still like the Idea but I am disappointed and it did not come cheep.

> 3 dayThis scanner replaced a portable Canon P-215 duplex scanner and really like the computer-less feature. I scan my documents and can directly upload to an online cloud storage service or email it to a recipient directly from the scanner via a WiFi connection. This has made my scanning more efficient and quicker. It supports the major cloud storages including Dropbox, Onedrive, Google Drive, and Evernote. The only negative is the paper feeding mechanism is sometimes not perfect and will skew or crease papers when not fed properly. This happens only on a few occasions and hope it is because of the actual type of paper being fed.

> 3 dayIt is actually not the scanner I hate but the software. It does not read and interpret the information well. When exporting a file from neat to my computer as a pdf file 50% of the time I end up with a blank page that when I try to open it I get a message saying there is an error on the page. It makes more work rather than less. Extremly upset that I spent all this money on this piece of junk.

Greater than one weekinitial feedback from someone who has tried a lot of scanners: this is a great scanner in that it operates stand alone: it does not require a PC to email or store scans: I bought (and still own) a Fujitsu Scan-snap scanner which is great but you need to have it connect to a PC first: the NEAT can scan and email directly: exactly what I was looking for: the touchscreen is modeled after the iPhone which works for me. Please note these are my initial impressions and I reserve the right to change/ embellish but first impressions are important: this scanner is so easy to operate, once set up, that almost anyone can use it: my main use is scan and email i think it should have a wired Ethernet port too but not a big deal: wireless works fine at work we have Cannon copiers that also scan and email and everyone loves them compared to dedicated PC scanners that always seem to be problematic: the NEAT gives me this feature in my home office: it works!!

> 3 dayThis was a great product combined with the Neat Receipts desktop software and the they decided to water it down with forcing users to use Neat Cloud. This is a case of good company too arrogant for their own good. The last desktop version is slim down of neat cloud. Here are the top issues. 1. No, you cannot use files created by previous versions. Have to import everything. 2. The software fails to scan and OCR a single document, yes just 1 page document 3. Ah the import, does not work. It may show something imported but no psd files 4. There is is no way you can add custom columns to see complete information. You have to open each individual line item and fill in the fields. That too has limitations as all the fields are not visible and you have to click again to open that view. Now why would you take a functional in-line editing and make adding I formation almost impossible. 5. You cannot add one note or some times one drive could account b/c they keyboard never shows up. I loved this software and my neat scanner since it was a useful tool to run my business. I would gladly pay subscription fee as well but at least there should be some useful functionality. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone who wants to get any work done.

> 3 dayBiggest piece of JUNK you can buy, I am now on my 6th replacement unit in 15 months, they operate anywhere from as long as 3 months to as little as 2 days. I added battery back up and surge protection at a significant cost thinking just maybe some weird thing was going on, I mean one or two bad ones I could believe....but 6 bad ones? I operate a small business and scan on average 75 documents a day. Error commonly is : NO image or Unable to detect paper. Customer support is terrible, email support is slow 48-72hrs, once you have a case # you get to talk to an overseas person scripted and running you through a mandated set of try this and do this nonsense which results in ultimately 2 days later a replacement scanner arriving. I know there troubleshooting better than they do now. Terrible, I mean outrageous service. Had I done my homework and read other review sites, I would have never bought this, in fact it was so bad I had two, one to use as a back up every time one failed, then today one day after installing the second one it failed. paperweight at best. Get a fujitsu or a Panasonic . The Neat software is pretty good, their cloud service is slow at best and the hardware is pure JUNK!

> 3 dayThe scanner is too expensive and it is not doing the basic task of scanning consistently. When it does work, it works like a charm. For me, every other time, I have to switch off and on again for the paper to be recognized. It is becoming a nightmare to use this regularly.
