Simple set up, speeds are perfect

The accompanying directions were not helpful. The connections were not marked for lan input. Just attached the input at random and the connected devices also at random and everything worked. No software or setup was needed. Not sure why there was an instruction folio.

As an unmanaged switch - what can I say? Just plug in your devices and it either works or not. We used this to replace another brand that crapped out. Worked great - nice quality box.

Brand name, quality, solid built. This has a lightweight aluminum frame. I like that much better than the cheaper plastic brands. It’s very plug and play, no issues with any of my network devices. Cons: I have not been able to access it with the netgear management tool software. They have a switch locate app that is not finding either of my netgear switches. Not that big a deal if your router controls all of your network and protocols.

I had the previous version of this switch for about 6 years and it worked great until a lightning storm took it out. This one is similarly good.

All the wired connections in my LAN run through this hub which is used to distribute the gigabit fiber internet connection from my EERO Pro 6. The Netgear 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308) handles this task effortlessly. I plugged it in more than 3 months ago and it has been running continuously without any drama. Highly recommended.

Works excellent

Literally nothing to do but plug your CAT cables in and plug in the power. Worked perfectly.

Plug and play. Used it right after my main google WiFi hub to expand ports for the 2 extra hubs and a ps5 and pc
