Edit: all is well and I couldnt be happier. I was able to exit out of S mode and its now a perfect computer. I use an adapter and run a second when Im at my desk, I use an adapter and run a second monitor, nice speakers, wireless keyboard, and wireless mouse. Otherwise, I use it as a tablet. I seriously love this computer.

Pay a little more to get an iPad. The Surface Pro is a real dissapointment.

Im using the Gold processor with 8 gb of ram wifi only. I never understand the bash about this processor. It handles spotify, web browsing, installing updates or Office workflow just perfect. This isnt the fastes neither the smothest experience, but for the size, price and overall experience, it just works. Fluid and decent

So my biggest question about this was, is it a Tablet with PC features or a PC with Tablet features. After using it for a bit I have concluded it is a PC posing as a tablet. The best way to think about this is that it is a budget PC in one integrated 10 unit. Because thats how it perfroms.

I have a 12 tab s7+ that Ive used for everything the past couple months: movies, games, some light work. Compared to that, the keyboard on the surface go feels a bit small. Usable but small. It is however built better than the Samsung keyboard. The processor is also in a weird spot. Android devices have lighter games that are designed to run on the mobile gpu. Pc games assume if youre playing games, you have a dedicated graphics card and as such, this surface go wont run games as well. It did however run valorant and league of legends pretty well on low-med settings and has the advantage over android in that it runs x86 apps. Obviouslyy not everyone plays games. It runs my cad software surprisingly well as long as I dont try to do any thermal/stress tests. The size makes for a great tablet to read off of. Not too large like my tab s7+ to hold in one hand. Video conferencing works well and surfaces pen support is as awesome as ever. A friend saw me using it and ended up buying the surface pro7 for school (because she wanted a larger screen) this last weekend. Usb c charging heats up the body for some reason but it does work. Included is the standard surface charger.

I bought this tablet in conjunction with the cover keyboard and slim pen and works as a laptop or tablet. I even can attach the surface as an additional screen to my main PC for great drawing and presentations.
