Sucks a lot of heat out of the PS5 but it is not silent.

Works great only con I would say is when you put your PS5 in rest mode you have to manually turn the fan off. And sometimes even after you do that it will kick on again it is also slightly noisy but is does its purpose very well

This fan attachment goes on the back of the PS5 to help pull some of the heat out. My first complaint is you have to remember to turn this thing on every time you turn on your system including turning in on from rest mode. Now this is just a minor quality of life complaint. The second complaint is the real issue. This thing is really noisy. I have to turn my games up to be able to kind of drown out the sound of the fans but you can still hear it. It helps with the heat issue a little bit but in my opinion it doesn’t make enough difference to justify how loud it is. It is still better than nothing but I find myself only turning it on when I know I’m going to be playing for awhile.

Its loud. Pulls away the heat well, and the pass through USB connectionbis nice. But it is loud.

This doesn’t help much, my ps5 still gets hot and it has overheated several times and turned off

I can tell the unit does keep the ps5 cooler just by feeling the top after playing with it, compared to without it.

This kit works really well was easy to install and helps cool the PS5, the only down side is that the fan blades are partially exposed so be careful when reaching around the back to access then open USB port.

So I bought this product because my PlayStation 5 of a year started to over heat and shut down automatically. I cleaned the system and that still didn’t work. So the next step was a fan. This helped and the system works finally. The only issue is even when the PlayStation shuts of the fan doesn’t, but in all honesty that could be the PlayStation itself. Just make sure you wait a minute or two before pressing the button to turn the fan off.

Product stopped working after 4 months. Not worth the money paid for it.
