works good. instructions are lacking had to watch youtube video to figure out you had to remove a piece before attaching. expensive for what it is.

Perfect! Amazing! Worth every penny! Slides right on, stays on firmly and I can pick up and wiggle my PS5 on the shelf now without the stand moving at all! Accommodates both the digital and disc edition. If you display your PS5 horizontally, you need this stand!!

The OEM ‘disc’ is aggravating ….. it will slip off in a heartbeat if the console is moved…… the console will vibrate and titter-totter on Sony’s hockey puck……. Just get this ….. you won’t be disappointed…..

The horizontal stand works perfectly as advertised for my Disc PS5. Instructions, as if they were actually needed, were very clear and I thought it was a nice touch that the design incorporated both Digital and Disc models seamlessly. The OEM stands use in the horizontal position is, IMHO, a MAJOR design flaw and this stand negates that issue. I suspect the reason others complained about it not fitting the Disc edition was because they failed to take the insert out of the left side - thats vital! There is one major limitation to the product: If you plan to incorporate a skin or wrap with your PS5, it will need to be extremely thin (like, decal thin). I have a relatively thin silicone dust cover for the OEM case plates...I have to remove the bottom (i.e. right, disc side) plate cover to use the stand as the stands clips are designed to snugly fit the OEM plates. Not a huge loss, but I now have a black top plate and a white bottom plate. Oh well. If youre using aftermarket plates, I would guess that the stand will not work with them unless they are of the exact dimensions of the originals. So...definitely not a design flaw but a limitation of the product one should be aware of. So why the loss of a star? Two things. First, the above limitation could have been avoided by making the clips slightly wider or adjustable. Wider might have sacrificed the snug fit (maybe), but adjustable clips could have accommodated such aftermarket alterations. Second: Price - its good quality but it is very simple for what you get. Its a bit more expensive than what I would want to pay for something like this. That said, Id strongly recommend it and would probably pay for it again given the choice.

This was exactly what I was looking for! Eveytime I clean around the console or maybe have to get in back I have to move it and the original stand falls off. Then you get it set and maybe decide to pull it forward a bit and the stand comes off again. Sony should of put a stand like this in the box to begin with. If you have your console horizontal, get this stand. You wont be disappointed.
