Nikon AF S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G Fixed Lens with Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras

After had this lens for few weeks. I would like to say......

PERFECT!! I can not really go into detail about this lens because I am still learning the differences between different brand and types of lenses. I just know that my pictures are sharp, crisp and clear when this lens is used.

Im using it on FX camera. Images appear extremely sharp even wide open. Auto focus is very precise, also in low light conditions, such as concerts and indoor events in general.

Ive wanted to purchase this lease for a long time. I knew cons and pros of this lens. And it exceeds my expectations. If you know how to use fixed-focal length lenses, then you can appreciate a fast f/1.8 aperture and create great photos.

Love the focal length and the creamy bokeh. Possibly my favorite lens at the moment for my D7200.

Beautiful and sharp lens, I bought it thinking on portrait pictures, and its amazing, well constructed, fast focus, dependable in low light conditions,bigger and heavier than the 50mm (of course) but nothing you cant handle. It is ideal too for candid pics, cause it gives you more distance between the subject and you.

Great portrait lens

There was no indication in the listing that this is a grey market lens therefore the warranty would not be serviceable by Nikon Canada. The supplier placed a sticker on the box indicating that there is a two year warranty but as the lens was originally supplied to India it is uncertain as to who or where any servicing would be conducted. I am not expecting to have any warranty issues. The lens is fine and I still intend to purchase it but I want the local, serviceable warranty and the fact that is was not listed as such is problematic for me. The lens was returned.
