> 3 dayIt works as intended but the wood top sometimes easily get pushed off by my hamsters. Wished there was a way for it to really stick on so it doesn’t come off a lot.

> 3 dayIts easy to clean, which is great since my little Russian dwarf likes to pee in his. However, its very difficult for him to get back out once hes in. Ramps and rocks get shifted as he rolls around and arent reliable means of exit, and he is terrified of tubes for some reason so he wont use those to get in and out more easily. =/

> 3 dayMy hamster loves this and uses it ever day. I find it easy to clean and the sand lasts a while. I have a Syrian hamster and the circle tub has plenty of room for her. It’s bigger than I thought it would be. She likes to dig around in there. I highly recommend this for your hamster to have some fun to do and keep it stimulated. She also doesn’t itch her coat as she used to before she got this.

Greater than one weekI bought this to replace just a regular glass baking dish I was using (it was much smaller). I found this item to be perfect and just what I was looking for. My hammy (winter white) loves it! He has plenty of room to roll around and groom himself than he did with the other sand bath I had started with. The sand bath comes apart and so it makes it easy to wipe off the lid with a napkin or even dustpan brush when they get bedding or sand on top of it. It also makes it easy to clean the inside of the container and scoop out any poops or pees he makes (he also uses it as a potty spot). The half lid is suppose to ensure your hammy has some privacy and comfort when they groom themselves but I found it wasn’t enough for him. So I added grapevine wood and flat corklog pieces around it and that seemed to fix just the problem of him being uncomfortable. The package was also delivered in good condition. And the packaging overall ensured the product was safely tucked in to prevent any cracks or any other damages to the item itself. The only “downside” is that it’s a bit pricey. But again, it’s an investment and if you don’t mind and are capable to spend extra money for an item like this, do so. Otherwise you can easily go to the thrift stores or dollar stores and get glass baking dishes or plastic containers for them and use that as a sand bath. Just be sure it’s large enough for them to roll around and also fit a hide in it so they have privacy and feel comfortable and safe!

03-06-2025This is a great hamster sand bath! Its a decent size for hamsters to roll around and and it comes with a lid that covers half of the bowl. Its too big if you have a beginners cage, but if you have a cage thats about 40in in length and 13in in width and depth, its the perfect size plus more room for your hamster.

> 3 dayMy gerbils love their sand bath and use it for everything except sleeping. Wurdest part is, they use it as a toilet but also love to take their food inside to eat it. Not sure what it’s about, but they have it for a while now and it seems to work for them, which makes me happy.
