> 3 dayI installed two of these in my security camera system NVR from Q-See. One was a replacement for the power supply 12V fan where the original was so loud and high pitched it drove me nuts. The second was for inside the case of the same unit where this Noctua runs at 5V. I was worried about it starting up with just 5V, but it works every time. The power supply fan I had to mount on the outside of the power supply but still inside the case because it would not fit inside the power supply. I probably voided my power supply warranty but I really liked the unit and Ill take the gamble that I wont be an issue for the power supply. I kept the old fans so I could change it back if I had a warranty situation.

> 3 dayOrdered to replace a hydro-bearing ADDA 60mm fan which was noisy after 4 years on my Thecus N2200 NAS. This fan is superb.

Greater than one weekThis fan is probably the best fan out there for server cooling. It is also the best replacement fan for Thrustmaster video game wheels. It is awesome as advertised. The cooling fan comes with tons of adapters and instructions. I wish everything I bought was as good as this...

> 3 dayA bit amiguous to attach to a heats sink without screws. The provided rubber attachments work well enough for my old AMD X2s heatsink.

> 3 dayI could not believe how quiet these things are for their size! I always thought that a small fan had to be louder than a larger one simply because it spins faster. But these Noctua 60mm ones are so quiet that two of these on my rig (my GTX 690 would not allow me to fit a full 120mm fan on the bottom front side of my tiny Silverstone SG-03 case, so I put two of these small Noctuas there to give the video card the space it needed) are in fact quieter, on the same level of power (fed through a external fan controller) than my Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilent that I use to cool my i7-920 on a Coolit ECO sealed water cooler loop. Simply amazing!

Greater than one weekReceived and installed on 8/31/2013 started making a loud noise periodically after a couple of months. Will make a loud bad bearing sound for a few minutes and then goes away for a few days. Getting more frequent will need to replace soon. Not up to continuous use as I use it in a Windows media HTPC. Other than the occasional noise, very quiet but will have to change soon as I am sure it will fail completely.

> 3 daySuper quiet fan! Includes a lot of extras such as a noise filter and anti vibration mounts. I use these in my 3D printers and computers to keep the office just a bit more quiet.
